I just opened up a thoughtseize foil Etched, two foiled swords, (one full art) and a terror of the peaks. I got some great stuff in a collectors box! Glad they came in already.

I opened one and a collector booster and barely busted $85 in value. WTF? Been on a bad run for months now. Dayton, Oh.

It's not tanking, it's market equilibrium. If play booster boxes are selling for $130 and you can pull $250 in singles from it on average, why would anyone buy singles? They would just buy their own $130 box and profit. Then singles prices would come down until average EV is just above box price so you can get lucky and profit or get unlucky and get most of your money back but you get the experience of opening. With unlimited print runs, people will buy the boxes as long as the packs are fun to open and they see cards they like.

I opened a bundle and play box $302 CA in and pulled $459 CA out. Bundle gave me a Jitte and Lotus Ring. One of the better boxes I've opened in the last little bit.

I bought a prerelease kit. That's all the sealed of this set I'm going to buy, whether it tanks or not. I'd rather save money for other stuff down the line, this a set to just buy some singles for me.

i just dont like that the bundles arent printed in the same place as the booster boxes. The US print uses a different cardboard for the cards and they use more ink versus the Japanese prints which are lighter in color.
