Her poor husband looks like he's aged 20 years. What a sad and tragic story. I can very much relate, as I watched my father suffer from this very same cancer, which killed him at the young age of 56. Brittany was a courageous woman.

I'd also like to add to anyone who thought she looked healthy.... this type of cancer and I know my facts, my father had it and passed.... you get what they call a "moon face" , it's a tell tale sign in brain tumor patients, they almost look unrecognizable. She was stunning before and it changed her entire face. I thought she was still beautiful, but just another terrible thing to add to the list of things that happen to you. You can tell she took care and took pride in herself. That must have been so hard for her. A beautiful soul taken to soon by this evil cancer.

moon face is not from brain cancer, its from the steroids used to treat pain.

Brittany was a strong, beautiful woman that suffered unimaginable pain. Who are we to judge? I am sorry for her loss and hope her family and friends have found peace.

All these people invoking God and ironically enough being in JUDGEMENT of her, I’d thought I’d remind you of something. Here in the United States we have something called the separation of Church and State. What does that mean? Just because YOU subscribe to a Bronze Age belief system and would not do this yourself because of that belief system, you can not impose those beliefs on others who do not share your religious or personal beliefs. There’s Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, Buddha, Scientology and the list goes on and on. If you do not want those beliefs imposed on you, do not impose your beliefs on others. This is a very personal choice that is up to that individual. Don’t like it, don’t do it. For the life of me, I don’t understand why that concept is so far out of reach for “Christians.”

I can't help but think that she may have had second thoughts about do this is her husband had said, "No, I will take of you when you are sick! Don't take your own life. We will get through this together." She was probably not wanting to inconvenience him with her illness. It seems that "Through sickness and health!" did not apply so much here.

not only did he tell her he would take care of her, so did her mother. she had a strong support system if she had decided to let the cancer run its course. dying was her decision.
