Glad you're playing Hades! I'm in a similar position where I'm not really a twitch reflexes gamer, but Hades drew me out of that comfort zone and made me feel I was really improving, enough so that I grinded out all the aspects, got the epilogue ending (requires like 40 clears I think?), and loved it all enough to instant buy Hades 2. Almost cleared the lower path! Got to the final stage of Chronos. PS: if you're looking for other weapons to get good with besides the gloves, the Zeus aspect of the Chaos Shield is pretty easy to get far with, because you can block nearly everything by hiding behind the shield and just focusing on dodging appropriately, while your special attack turns into a beyblade and roams around doing damage for you. Just stack all boons on stuff to improve the special attack and keep you alive, and profit.

As a huge Hades fan and I can advice you to wait for the full release of the game. Also great gameplay as always Marshie. I have been watching your deck videos for a few months now you make really great decks. I am a Legend Wild player and I dont play Standard anymore, but still even your Standard videos are fun. Keep up the good work !

I'd recommend getting Hades 2 now. It's in early access, but there's still an absurd amount of content, and it's super fun. If I'm not mistaken, there's already more content than the first game, and full release isn't slated until next year. The music and atmosphere alone is probably enough to get it now. The only bummer to me has to be that the trinkets don't have unique textures yet, so they're just a placeholder with a letter.

I'd love to play this deck, but I don't have Marrowgar and I don't want to craft it, does it work without Marrowgar or is it absolutely necessary? If anyone has any suggestions for replacements if possible, lmk. If it just won't work I'll stick to other decks I guess.

Definitely wait for Hades 2 v1.0. The full game is so much better specially for the story and the connections between characters.

Man after the HL change plagues fell off. You really need the critical mass of the whole package now to make that package do its work, so it makes sense to cut the already weakest part of even DK out now that it barely affects HL matchups (Marrowgar used to be a decent play for example when they couldn't Lone Ranger or Zeph it). That said, I think some kind of UBU non-even Plague DK is pretty ok in Wild now that mining casualties and threads shore up its mediocre early game. And yeah Buddy pretty much ensures Grave Strength is always juiced and has some cheap reach. Had moderate success with it before the latest patch. If you're wanting something kind of like neophyte but no battlecry and bait, guess there's far watch post. Edit: also, Hades rocks

Even Shaman is SIGNIFICANTLY worse imo without attack totem, which is hilarious since it was supposed to be a nerf to spell damage totem when it was introduced. It does make me wonder if Odd Shaman could finally win a game with Bioluminescence but that seems a little... Optimistic.

The steam page for Hades II has a few paragraphs from the developpers discussing the early acces aspect of the game. I Personally am a Hades 1 fan ( 80+ hours) and played the sequel yesterday for about 2 hours and had lots of fun with it.
