this is great i love the normal look of pokemon but they felt really outta place in a block shaped world now they fit in perfectly and can really feel more natural to minecraft!
Ngl, i feel like being able to craft the held items just ruins the rarity of them from the actual game. Also, pokemon giving effects on shoulders just doesn't fit well in my opinion. Cobblemon lacks a large majority of pokemon(over 600), and exploring takes ages as you can't ride pokemon like in pixelmon. Pixelmon just feels more like pokemon, and when they finally add nostalgia mode, the mons will fit the minecraft feel.
If only we could fight them and they could fight us back... Would be much more realistic (I mean fight not with Pokemon's, but just fight, like in Minecraft)
personally i don't think we should be arguing which is better since they're both trying to provide different experiences and have a different feel to them gameplay wise, plus they're both just fun lmao
I’ve been playing Pixelmon for almost a year now and cobblemon for about 3 weeks, I wanna start off by saying that I enjoy both and each give a unique feeling however I’ll begin with Pixelmon, I really enjoy Pixelmon, I love the riding, I love the 3d models it doesn’t really throw me off when I play as I don’t mind it all that much, I love the seeing legendaries spawn in separate forests and certain quest legends like mewtwo and the sinnoh trio are great additions, my biggest issue with Pixelmon comes in at its complete lack of fighting animations and idle and even certain things that something like Violet has in being more realistic depictions of the mons in habitats, I think of they add cinematic fights and moves to the mod it could improve it a lot, I also love how on top of the newer generation they are, there’s already multiple Mons from gen 9 in Pixelmon and it’s great to see, however cobblemon lacks a lot of Pokémon and I mean simple one like the ralts family and larvitar family, and even most legendaries and end game things to do(like ultra space in Pixelmon) however the Pokémon idle and sleeping animations made me fall in love with the mod, it’s a great change from absolutely almost nothing in Pixelmon and although the models don’t impress me(they’re not bad I just don’t mind either or. 3d or blocky) i think cobblemon has a long way to go, in terms of progression, end game, and even villages, I think gyms should be added soon as it could be very useful to the game as it’s just something else to do with your Pokémon, something else I’d love to see is rideable Pokémon along with some Pokémon being able to go onto your back. This could give more uses to middle stage Pokémon and even some first stage mons, i do like both and I believe whole heartedly that Pixelmon and cobblemon should team up to create a much better experience, together they could do so much more then what they can apart, as both mods lack things the others has, I also don’t like the idea of Pixelmon being “killed off” by cobblemon as both are incredibly well designed and could very well lead to a race to see who can improve their mod more, and let’s be honest no one knows if cobblemon will die out also in the coming months, there’s too many factors and I hope both have a good community for growth and encourage each other to do better and compete on a rival scale
@@SevenYT cobbelmon is a mod there might be a mod pack centered around it but could you please refrain from calling mods modpacks as it can get confusing
@@RandoXD13 it's a java mod not a bedrock addon a quick Google search could answer that question. Sorry if I came off as hostile but it's really annoying when people ask that
You can change their moves whenever you want. Wherever you want. There's symbol next to the moves that opens up the learned moves menu where you can switch out the moves
I get what you mean by that and how it stays true to Pokemon, but ngl when a mighty big pokemon like Salamance is the the size of a small rock it lowkey bothers me but once again just my opinion
