Do you guys seriously not understand that one of the biggest factors in players feeling the pressure and losing their nerve is because of the abuse and criticism they are receiving from so called Tottenham supporters??? Brennan and Archie were looking sooo incredibly uncomfortable in their interview after the game, it was obvious that the reality of fan abuse was having an effect on them. The players and managers change but the constant is the fan base. Wake up people, get behind your team ffs!!!
I agree the fan base plays a part in our failure, but the real common denominator is the owner. Since h came in 20 years ago, we have won a single Carabao and that’s it.
Coventry looked like the PL team. We were diabolical. So many times the defenders anticipated our next move because we cannot surprise anyone. This is actual relegation form. I remember the Spurs side that was relegated and that side was better than now.
Sorry Barnaby, I like your channel, but I think you've lost the plot on this game. Our 11 was better than theirs and should have been capable of winning the game. "Second string" and "weakened team" are entirely relative concepts. And relatively, the team selection was sufficient and IMO approx. correct.
@@terrymeddings5563that's what they love to do! They love belittling others for not being "good enough" for this level. Because you know, Spurs are so good
One of the most alarming things for me is that nearly every player plays worse when they come to tottenham. The manager needs to get the best out of our players, but he does the opposite.
AliGold literally said those goals were Angeball (hes right) you think theyre not (youre wrong). But whatever gets this manager the sack seems to be the flavour of the day so just run with it.
I agree with Brennan when he said yesterday we need to move the ball faster. That's why we created the 2 goals. I agree. But Kuti moves the ball to slowly in the prem.
@@coolguy9616 it’s not abysmal. Yesterday was poor, but we have played well this season in the league. Give it time. You’d have sacked arteta in his first season.
Barnaby, Ange is trying to groom our youth so that we are able to cope with all the matches that we are likely to face in the four competitions. The team is going to grow together and that's what Alex did with the class of 92.
@@jacklegros6614 We have the most skeptical fanbase. I include myself in that motley crew. Let's just enjoy the moment and move on! By the way, who created the Celtic team that won 5-1 last night?
I think they f#%¤ed Ange over completely this summer, but he has to play along, but he is done and wants out. I can see when he stands there that he is done, uniterested, he's just there. The transfer window was NOT what an ambitious manager would want to see.65m for Solanke when Gyokeres who is on firecould have been had for 75-80m. The preseason?? Who in the world planned that? No players in place and poor opponents and then get run over two times by Bayern. Insane. Who would not have had it? The way we are trying to play its illogical with a Solanke type of player.. we dominate and we need a fast strong technical poacher who is good at link up play. We don't cross, we don't need a target man because we aim to dominate
i agree completely. i feel like we’re in a similar situation when we didn’t sign anyone for Poch. except we have made signings, they just don’t actually improve our team to win now…
More nonsense. What are you talking about. How is Ange supposed to blood fringe players? This was the obvious and only game he could chance doing it. We had a back four that had never played together before. A goalkeeper recovering from a serious injury late in his career who has had one game in twelve months. An 18 year old running the midfield who I’m sure will be a star who ran out of legs and had to be taken off. A new winger who will be a game changer but was injured early on and had to be replaced. Stop the clueless lack of football knowledge moaning. We still had 70% of the possession and outplayed them late in the game when we brought on our star players. We deserved the win. Richie a key player in Angs system has been missing all season. For Gods sake get a grip.
That's fair enough, and to an extent I agree, but you simply don't rotate 8 players at a time, with two of them out of position. That's just asking for trouble. Blood them four or five at a time, but keep a strong nucleus for every game, because for us, EVERY game should be a MUST WIN
They want to hit reset. Don't you know that Ange is from Japan and Scotland so isn't good? The next manager will bring Tottenham Hotspur the success it used to have. So much silverware need a new stadium soon it's too full of trophies
Barnaby I sent an enormous rant to your earlier video but when all's said and done, I remain optimistic. It simply infuriated me that Ange chose to make EIGHT changes for this game with two players set up out of their natural positions. That was very similar to what he did last season against Fulham and we know how that turned out. This was looking very much like going the same way for much of last night's game. Rotation should be limited to 4 or 5 players (in varying combinations) at most. The result? A godawful perfomance that angered many and resulted in our young players being booed off at half-time. Hardly inspiring or motivational for them, I'd say. I'm convinced his sytem CAN work, but perhaps not his methodology.
Sorry Barnaby I think your friend is a tad wrong in saying that he finds tiki taka football boring because what we are seeing with Ange is not great football at all as matter of fact they are playing rubbish they look like lost sheep....that tiki taka has won cups, leagues and champion leagues no matter how boring he may think it is
Quality players won the game, can't believe we got away with it but then maybe now we have a lucky manager as opposed to past ones didn't have the best of fortune?
The catalyst for Spurs coming back from the dead was firstly The Jedi and then Kulu. Both showed they have the eye of the tiger and a will to win. Despite AnGes crap system of play. Theses 2 boys step up. Plenty of respect to Brennan he showed his courage with that goal after the abuse. Ange is living on borrowed time. Counter attacking football. Every body knows your tactics and style of play. Do better or get out .
That last piece of analysis on the goals not being Angeball really is intellectually weak. 1. You say you want to see more evolution of Angeball. 2. When you see something different you say it's not Angeball because Angeball is this one dimensional style of play. The goals came from pressing and fast moving attacking football passes and runs into space. Your logic in the videos are contradictory now
They look like they are attending a funeral. Justifying ANY good things as being ANTI Ange (not his style of play what does that even mean how do they know are they experts)
No he's not this is who they are. They all are. Some just hold out longer. This is what they live for. Wet the bed sack the manager feel better for awhile repeat
Do you have evidence to back up this claim? I have evidence this is the ChatGPT paint by number fanbase content same as other Spurs content creators. Just hit play on this video and the last one
Solankes had 2 game hes a good player. No pressure . We aint tryna win anything so honestly whats the pressure about. Its up to Ange to press the pressure valve
