People say that he is alive because of the card saying he’s alive, but thats only up to that movie. From Tf4 to tf5 its been almost 5 YEARS of hunting transformers, and no little autobot can survive that long..
They don't really need to kill or capture autobots, to create their clones. Remember Stingray? Well he is the clone of Bumblebee, but Bumblebee is still alive. I believe, that Dino is still alive. He is just either scared to show himself, or already went to Cuba. Also, wanna talk about those blades. After soldiers ambush on Autobots, he most probably changed his alt form to another car. If a voice actor is killed bayverse would change it like they changed optimus' voice actor. Also on the playing cards that cemetery wind has, mirage/dino isn't crossed out meaning he is still alive. If the volleyball dude was a clone then that means there is a chance it was a clone who was getting scrapped by the tentacle thingies in Lockdown's ship, and even if the volleyball bot was a clone, then that would mean KSI clones are capable of having emotions and leave the control of KSI itself.
But given bumblebee and rotb timeline retcon tlk I got the sense it might be rebooting the bayformers timeline given in the mid credit scene in rotb mirage has a shade of red that eventually he might become and change his name to Dino I think in the tlk events he’s already a 488 GTB
I just want to say that in your video where you were talking about how Lockdown killed Sideswipe, Sideswipe did aim for the head because you can see the same scar from Locldown's chest on Lockdown's left part of the face
Even if that is a clone, that technically means Dino/Mirage is alive. Megatron was used to make Galvatron but K.S.I lost control of him while fighting Optimus because Megatron was still internally alive. So, the same thing could happen with Dino/Mirage clone.
That's means Mirage got reincarnated, Mirage's brain is already alive, honestly, if it was Mirage's clone, then why does it remember? So Mirage lives in another body, same thing happens with Megatron, Megatron lives in another body But with the name of Galvatron

I still believe he's still alive, a lot of evidence is pointing to him still being alive. Unfortunately we'll never know because the bayverse is done. Good new is that we'll see more of mirage in rise of the beasts and ik it's not the same but mirage is mirage

Dino didn’t die his card doesn’t have an x on it and in TLK the other bot was roadbuster also those ksi drones are not clones of Dino they are just drones who have similar blades

The cards from cementery wind at the beginning of age of extinction was selled off for auction. Somebody bought it, and shows the cards containing transformers that was killed by them. It shows Dino not having an X compared to others such as Arcee and so-on.
For anyone saying that he is still alive because his voice actor died, which supposedly means he survived, well No. If the voice actor of a character died, then most likely they have to establish that the character them self died. And if you don’t believe let me just give you an example, remember Doc Hutson from Cars? Yeah, his voice actor died during the planning or making of Cars 2, and what happened in that movie? It was established that he had died. And due to the government hunting down autobots and prime saying the rest died, it should be clear that it is intended that both Sideswipe and Dino are dead. So yeah, No, just because his voice actor died, doesn’t somehow mean the character didn’t. And they couldn’t even change the voice actor for him because of Ferrari, so it would only make sense for the directors to make the choice of making him canonically dead, along with Sideswipe. I hope this makes sense
In other transformers vids, I saw in the comments that Dino was actually planned to return in AOE and get more screentime. But sadly since his VA died a week after the release of DOTM, the plan was scrapped, so ig he was killed offscreen
They didn't have to kill him off screen just bc his voice actor died. That can still be Dino just they couldn't make him a main character because his actor died.

Theory:dino survive form the ambush becuase he use his powers to be invincible and to fact that dino can use Stinger body becuase dino can use the clone of him just like megatron use galvatron body in ksi drone

Actually what i believe is dino is not dead when you talk about lockdown fuel making area where we see that dino parts were dismantling but i saw many times but that not dino parts of you notice there is a Autobot in darkmoon named lead foot or actually brother of hound actually this guy was dismantling in lockdown ship of you notice that two robotic handachine snitching and dismantling the hand part that exactly match with leadfoot hands

Dino died to lockdown and you can see him being torn apart in the ship when carly is trapped in the car, you can also see his spare parts scattered around as well as one of sideswipes arm blade things confirming they are both killed by lockdown
Remember that megatron came back and had a new form so mybe dino came back and was in his ksi form and decided to keep it so its possible for him to be alive
And any way topspin is playing with road buster or somthing the green one in the dark moon that was with that fat red one when they relize auto bots didn't blow up
But look even if one of those ksi drones turned a new leaf we saw him having to blades on each arms the ksi drones had to blades on one arm. so 1 he got blasted by hound or bumbke bee and one of his blades got shot off to from the blast then he would have had to repair himself from some random person or a bot fixed him.
