Did Doomed Titan Sub Passengers Try to Contact Rescuers?

A recording of a mysterious sound picked up during the search for the ill-fated submersible was released. It is heard for the first time in a new documentary, “The Titan Sub Disaster: Minute by Minute.” The world held its breath last summer after the Titan was lost with five men on board, including the vessel's designer, Stockton Rush. The discovery of the banging sounds soon after the search began raised hopes they were still alive. The Titan later imploded, killing all on board instantly.

What I don’t understand is that the media and the government were dragging out a rescue mission knowing the fate of the Titan.

I wonder why? 🤔 it certainly couldn't be because they wanted the public distracted and focused on that and not on Biden's accusations. Certainly not. Especially since there's going to be elections again in 2024. Our world is run by clowns 🤡 , and we keep falling for their tricks, lies and false promises each and every time.

It's a too dangerous mission and the titan occupants knew that. They signed a contract, in other words no one needed to help them, which is a good thing. We were supposed to let them sink and just leave them there. The government was actually extra nice that day for at least bringing something back up to the surface.

When the implosion happened, their death was instantaneous. Before the sub imploded, they had awareness of the problems going on...they knew , they were in trouble. They were trying to go back to the surface but the sub did not oblige. It was barely going up, while cracking in the structure. They were not likely physically affected as they had air to breathe, but likely they were afraid, they would not make it back to the surface.

I don't think this was anyone banging for help or to communicate. Morse code SOS is pretty universal and if you were trying to communicate, with the knowledge that sonar and other devices might be in use to locate your whereabouts. An SOS signal of 3 taps 3 space out taps, and 3 more taps. Reapeated in intervals of 5 minutes and messaged for one minute each time sounds more "organic" as one man likes to put it. But taps roughly every half hour sounds pretty consequential.

Literally microseconds. This whole story is bogus and should focus on Stockton Rush and the massive hubris that trailed this Princeton legacy like toilet paper stuck to your shoe after you go to a poorly maintained public bathroom. Stockton Rush came from a very wealthy family, that had long gone to Princeton. He had degrees in mechanical and aerospace engineering, when what he needed was degree in marine engineering and naval architecture, as well as 10 -20 years in the Nuclear Submarine navy. It's one thing to risk your life, it's quite another to risk the lives of others who don't know any better. The public trusts engineers and as such we cross bridges and board airplanes because we trust that what they build is safe. The National Society of Professional Engineers, whose members sign off on drawings of bridges and buildings, states that “Engineers shall hold paramount the safety, health and welfare of the public.” In Canada, many engineers wear the iron ring, after swearing to “not henceforward suffer or pass, or be privy to the passing of, bad workmanship or faulty material,” as written by Rudyard Kipling and first used in 1922. Instead, we got lots of bragging about all the things he had done, such as fly DC-8s without being able to independently corroborate it. His money, privileges, and connections caused things in life to be greased for him. Sadly this caused him to think he knew things he didn't. I see much Dunning-Krueger effect here. @AMYTT

The entire situation is horrifying. It's a great example of "just because you can, doesn't mean you should." It gives me anxiety when I imagine myself in their shoes, living out in real time this situation. Its crazy and hard to believe this is for "fun" and "educational." The Titanic is a corpse! It's decaying at the bottom of the ocean floor. Not much is left currently to look at anyway. It just doesn't seem worth the risk of your life. 😔
@goosepapoose8666
@goosepapoose8666 6 месяцев назад
The part that gets me the most is that they couldn't even see the ship with their own eyes, there were no windows. They watched everything from a screen. It's no different than watching footage of the Titanic. They could have stayed near a beach, a foot away from the surface, driven around in cirlces while watching Titanic videos and none of them would even know the difference. It's like if you went on vacation and spent the entire time in a small hotel room and watched someone livestream going out and actually doing things. What is even the point? You don't need to be there!

Something probably went wrong with the submersible and they lost communication and control -- and that might have lasted a while. But once the hull ruptured - they were dead in an instant.
@linanicolia1363
@linanicolia1363 7 месяцев назад
That timing has been evaluated between the time the communication stopped and the moment a military ship picked up a spike . They figure out, it was the implosion and it was not, long after, the contact was lost. That is good news as they did not linger too long, wondering if they could make to the surface. The implosion took a fraction of a second, without any pain.......they were gone.
@KremitDeFrog
@KremitDeFrog 6 месяцев назад
We already know they didn't make it to the bottom before the vessel imploded because of the range of debris that was scattered.. if the banging that went on for days was actually theirs, this would mean they'd have made it to the ocean floor where the vessel would then be resisting the maximum amount of pressure it would endure. So this story is hard to believe in the first place..
@supercarloverbutnosupercarsad
@supercarloverbutnosupercarsad 7 месяцев назад
I hear many people confuse implosion with explosion. Explosion happens when the inside pressure increases pushing the walls OUTSIDE until the walls give way. Implosion happens when the OUTSIDE pressure is greater than the pressure inside forcing the Titan sub to be CRUSHED UNDER PRESSURE.
@KremitDeFrog
@KremitDeFrog 6 месяцев назад
you forgot to mention instantaneously.. that is a key component of implosion.. there's crushing and then there's implosion.. just like there's expansion and then there's explosion..
