True, the B&O sound system is a stand alone $610 option with XLT 302a, which is a no-brainer if you ask me. It's an amazing sound system, but if you want even more and are getting a Lariat or higher, you can get the B&O "unleashed" system for an additional $6?? which ups the ante from 640 watts and 8 speakers up to 1080 watts and 18 speakers!

When reviewers state the price, they are stating MSRP. My 2020 XLT was $54k. Before tax title and fees, I paid $43k. No one should be paying close to MSRP for a truck. There is always some monthly deals and incentives.

The best thing Ford did with the 2021, in my opinion, is to allow you to get more options on the XLT. You don;t have to get them, but I appreciate that Ford lets you option up a XLT, rather than being forced to step up to a Lariat to get a few features you want.

@@dlg5485 But should I step up to a Lariat? My XLT that I ordered with 302 package but no power tailgate was told you couldn't get on the xlt?

@@scooterman7888 Yes the pwr tailgate is only available on the Lariat and up...and it's a $700 add on. I think a Lariat 501a package could make sense if you don;t go crazy with options, but you're well into the $50s to start. I'm ordering my truck soon and I'm still torn between XLT 302a and Lariat 501a, but I'm leaning toward XLT because the price explodes once you get into the Lariat. That said, you still don't get illuminated vanity mirrors and Homelink on the XLT 302a which is ridiculous.

Humm I just ordered one but now you got me thinking twice about it! No leather, no power mirrors but I did get a sun/moon roof and a spray in bed liner but was told you couldn't get a power tailgate on a xlt???

@@scooterman7888 they have sun/moon roof, leather and spray liner available as you know now. I was surprised at the one In the video (which looks great) doesn’t have any of those options for the 61k asking price. As of now I’ll stick with sport luxury cars. They have the biggest depreciation of all vehicles. Currently a BMW 540i xdrive

It's not happening. Regular people can't afford $61k, but they can afford $850 a month for the next 10 years. Is it sad yes, is it changing no. Get a base rear wheel drive XL single cab if you have to have a truck for "work".

@@herbyoung2767 spending 850 dollars a month for 10 years on a not fuel efficient vehicle is just stupid. I know people do but they don't think outside of the box. What if gas prices go beyond 3 dollars again ? You're going to be stuck with that payment because nobody wants to buy your used truck . It happened before it will happen again .

Exactly what I think . People are dumb enough to finance it over 8 years . I personally don't want to be stuck with a big payment for something that loses its value. That's not a smart investment.

@@scooterman7888 there's a high demand for cars but not too many cars on the market because the pandemic turned everything upside down. Your example isn't the norm. Things will go back to normal probably next year or the year after but my point is if you don't have a collectors car your value of your car decreases with every mile you drive. For 32k I can buy a new car for that money that takes me from point a to be just as good .

I bought a 2021 Lariat (i am in Canada) the msrp was 64 and change , a factory incentive of 8,500.00 and a 1,000.00 dealer credit made it affordable , you never pay sticker price , you should know that .

@@northlander4370 most have been a base lariat, I’m in Canada too and the xlt I got came in at 67000. Obviously that’s msrp

@@rubyv4s you caught my error , in march of 2019 i purchased a lariat 502a chrome package , the window sticker (i still have it) reads $63,649.00 CAD , the options were 502a equipment group consisted of blind spot system , led mirror spot lights , B & O stereo , voice activated nav ,2nd row heated seats , heated steering wheel , and tailgate step, the engine is the 2.7. I recently ordered a new 2021 Lariat 502a chrome pkg . , the engine is the 3.5 , i also optioned the upgraded B&O extreme stereo , 360 camera , panoramic moonroof , power tailgate (up and down) and 20 inch tires , . This truck with the options i wanted came in at $76 and change CAD , with dealer and factory incentives plus my trade i am stuck with 67 CAD , it was my error commenting on my 2019 , the 2021 is pretty pricey , and that is just the Lariat .
