I bought the Colourpop and wasn't impressed. Bought the mini and loved the formula. Bought the midi and loved it! Xenon is gorgeous. Glad you bought it. Lets live it up. I'm pulling it today
Hi, Sherry--I just had to smile as I read your "let's live it up" comment. Yes! Sometimes we just have to have some fun and go with what we love. I liked the Smokey glam look with the grey & midnight blue. Looks super with your silver jacket. I would probably buy the mini palette rather than the colour pop. Love the silver greys and white together. It’s just such a different palette that you will use quite often. Thanks Elise for showing all the different combinations.

Hi, Mary Ann--I'm rarely an all cool toned gal either. Sometimes adding a little warmth to a look can really make a positive difference! I do hope ND--and other brands--keep coming out with those minis. They're provide a great way to experiment with colors we might not normally wear--and not break the bank doing it. I'm a little late to the party, but you've done a great job of comfort zone hopping, Elise. Although each eye has its own look, when you came out at the end wearing your sparkly gunmetal top and crystal earrings, you knocked it out of the park! I have the mini Xenon palette, but have never used it (yet). You've inspired me to give it a go! 🩶🤍🖤
Hello, sweet friend. I can understand your feeling tempted. I was tempted for a number of months before I finally caved. But luckily, I'm not regretting the decision. Hi, Johanna--I'm so sorry to hear about the issue you have with insomnia. Oh my gosh, I can't begin to imagine how challening that must be and I'm so sorry. Following the nights when I don't get much sleep, I'm usually so irritable and certainly not able to function well. My husband is someone who can fall asleep any time anywhere and I'm so envious of that. I can so identify with the feeling of your resolve weakening. That's definitely what happened to me with this ND palette. And I even purchased the Yucca palette during the Sephora sale!
So pretty! I own the Jeffrey Starr Cremated palette, which is I know controversial but it's an excellent neutrals/smoky eye builder. But, large palettes are I think wasteful overall, and had I not got it on clearance I'd not have bothered, as some pans are already showing metal, and others I'd never wear!

I think it would be a really rare thing for any of us to use all--or even most--of the colors in a large palette. Thanks for mentioning the Jeffrey Starr palette. Hi Elise! All the looks are beautiful but #2 is my preference. I could tell you enjoyed it so I’m glad you purchased it. Apparently blue has never been a shade I’m drawn to as I only have a few pieces in my wardrobe. That’s something I hadn’t really considered before. Teal is my favorite in the blue tones, or is it considered a green? 🤷♀️ I have a summer blouse that has teal, navy and white in it and I love it. I love a wardrobe palette that has navy, teal (or Kelly green) and white, and i don't know why. Something about those colors reminds of something, or else is associated with a memory I can't quite retrieve....but its a very happy vibe, and makes me think of summer!!
@@johannaholmgren8088 I wish you could see the blouse I was referring to. I forgot it also has some almost coral orange that fades out into yellow. It’s one of my favorite tops.
