It scares me to my core. They want to take freedom away from people just because they are "different" from their cultish beliefs.

Already have. If is pure fascism. The wealthy and the religious are trying to set up a fascist state where they get to dictate how we all live. It is completely anti enlightenment. They go against the core principle of our founding documents. Between them, Trump and SCOTUS, we are in deep trouble.

I wouldn’t say that as there are too many agnostics and atheists that end up being Christian.

@@ianalan4367 A lot of agnostics and atheists were never Christians before they converted to Christianity. They convert to it as people who have limited knowledge of it. I'm talking about people like me who have deep experience with and knowledge of it, who come to realize it's all human. There is no way people like me can un-realize that, and Christians who presume otherwise don't understand and have not experienced that realization.

There are a variety of things that are unseen including God, the angels, and demons. My faith in God is a gift from God himself. In fact, I don't think any person can believe in God unless God himself has given them the grace and faith to believe in him. God is sort of a mystery, and the only way to know the truth is if God gives you the truth. Jesus Christ is absolute truth. When it comes to other religions, some of them also believe in what they don't see, but it is not God whom they believe. The devil is a liar. Anyway, I hope this answer helps. Yes, as a Christian there will come a day when people will be ashamed for making such claims “And it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the LORD: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth. We Christians often act hatefully toward people of other religions or no religions, don't we? It's such a shame because Jesus taught that we must love our enemies but often we don't obey that particular teaching.
