Very Pretty! Carbide scrapers are intimidating, but keep practicing. They work really well in a lot of situations! Also, I’ll pass along a tip I got from Furniture Flipping for Profit. $1-$2.00 car washing sponges I get from Menards! Cut them with an Electric Knife into 4-6 pieces for top coating. They’re perfect and Cheap!

Yes! I finally found an electric knife for $2 at a garage sale a couple weeks back for cutting foam for seat cushions. I can also use it to cut the sponges you mention. Thanks for the tip.

You mean instead of the carbide scraper? Ha ha. I'm determined to master the carbide scraper because I really can't stand stripping paint off of furniture. I even recently tried a heat gun to remove latex paint off a dresser. That created just as much of a sticky, gooey mess. Which brand of paint stripper works best for you?
