I don't mean to be mean but there was a statistic you mentioned that I found contradictory. You said India is the 5th economic power in the world and Canada is 10. Yet, to many Indians Canada is the richest country in the world and they dream of nothing but immigrate to Canada. Millions are flocking into the country every year. You would think it should be the other way around? And Canada isn't the only one, many western countries are dealing with mass immigration from India both legal and illegal

Let me throw a different perspective as a Canadian. The Khalistan issue is a completely new topic to me. Sikhs have been an active part of Canadian communities for as long as I can remember. In fact I have had discussions in the past with other Canadians on how well they integrate into Canadian culture (as opposed to Muslims, which seem to be more seclusive). The Khalistan issue I think is a symptom of too much immigration. We have imported enough people from India that we are getting a taste of their internal politics. To me that's a sign to pump the brakes. That means you are creating enclaves of people that are either not interacting with each other, and/or bringing biases from their homeland and making it unfold here. The Job market here is hard. There are lots of jobs, but we have let in i think close to a million foreign temp workers. We also don't have the housing to properly absorb all of these people. As a result, Indian entrepreneurs who buy franchise such as Tim Hortons, Starbucks or whatever, almost exclusively hire Indian people, somehow skirting all of our diversity laws. It's at the point if you go into a business and you see one indian person, you won't see another. This isn't exclusive to Indians though, Filipinos are really bad for this too. I don't blame the average Indian for coming here. This is a failure of government and policy. Canada is in a bad place, and Canadian citizens are struggling. We have so much foreign shit interfering with our day to day that its making the average Canadian pretty sick of immigrants in general. The whole Israel /Palestine bs coupled with the just pure volume of Indian studens/temp workers. Then now exacerbated by some of these temp workers demanding to stay, Canadians are at their wits end. I don't think it's an anti Indian thing, but more a circumstance of timing. Canada does really need to hit the pause button immigration. For both Canada and our relationship with Indians that are here.

After all the time Supporting Trudeau, Jagmeet can not be trusted to take care of Canadians, but he will support our immigrations as we age and can no longer work. As a realtor, I believe there are real improvements that can be made in our democracy. Just as in any business, where employees can lose their jobs for incompetence or misconduct, politicians should be held to the same standard. If they fail to keep their promises or are involved in scandals, they should step down, and new leaders should be elected.
