FULL WATCHALONGS/EARLY ACCESS REACTIONS UP TO SEASON 2 EPISODE 1 OF BIG LITTLE LIES ON PATREON: www.patreon.com/ReelTimeYT/posts?filters%5Btag%5D=Big+Little+Lies
I have a question for you guys.Would you be interested in reacting to this series called Lincoln lawyer? If you're interested in you see your reaction to if you were to react to it how would you rate it from 12 ten from being most interesting and worth to watch
Perry is great with the kids because they obey. As soon as they get older and dare to question or misbehave, he'll show his true colors - thats what abusers do.
The abuse with Perry is obviously not just physical. He has emotionally traumatized Celeste so much that she can't even see how bad it is, even blaming herself. Also, kids always are affected. I never saw my mom get hit but I heard the fights so I knew what was going on. Even at a really young age I couldn't see why she kept going back. It can affect even subconscious decisions about our own partners when we grow up. Sons have a tendency to abuse and daughters have a tendency to end up with abusers. I luckily got away after the first assault. There are so many that can't or won't.
The scenes with the kids are subtle, but they show how little the kids respect Celeste and how Perry can only discipline them and even that’s with anger.
the lunch scene in this where they shoot toy guns at their mom. That scene for some reason felt like it was a bit longer which made me realize that their sons are also probably violent
Celeste, Madeline, Jane, Bonnie, and Renata are such great characters to follow. Displaying complex women like this is why this show is so heavily regarded.
The thing with Ed is he is very observational, he stares at everyone and is constantly watching the lives around him unfold. Even in this one episode we hear him elude to this when he is talking to Madeleines ex husband, he says he is constantly watching; waiting for someone to come and mess with him so he can redeem himself from when he was a kid. So he isn’t just staring intensely at Abigail, he observes everyone around him. Even in this episode he asks Madeleine if Perry is really going to “let” Celeste go with Jane and her to check out a possibly dangerous man. Ed knows already Perry is territorial and controlling, he also stares at Madeleine ex, hell even Madeleine and her shadiness. He makes observations of all the characters throughout this season. So when he stares at Abigail it is as a father only, and he knows something is up and he is trying to figure out how to fix it and in this scene/episode its just him observing that Madeleine hasn’t lost her daughter like she thinks she has, she was in an accident and her daughter still comes running. Thats love, but for some reason Rob is connecting inapropriatness. I think he is a little jaded from some of the other shows they watch 😂😅
The amount of pure talent in this show is insane. Celeste, Madeline, Jane and Bonnie are by far some of my favorite on screen book counterparts to watch. Can’t fathom the difficulty that goes in to depicting the levels of complex emotion they portray almost effortlessly. Even Renata is such a wild character to watch 😭
I do find it a tad bizarre the way Rob keeps making something weird out of Ed looking at Abigail. He sees her as a DAUGHTER. He knows something is going on with her and he knows that Madeline feels like she's losing her and being shut out, which hurts her, so he's probably just observing Abigail's body language and expressions and general demeanour to see if he can try to work out what Abigail is thinking and feeling and what she's hiding. It's what any concerned parent would do...observe their children. He also knows that Abigail being there tonight after Madeline's accident would have meant the absolute world to Madeline (more so than Abigail will ever truly know after what they've both through) so witnessing them have that close moment after so much strain over the last few weeks was probably a welcome relief for him to see and he would have felt happy for Madeline to have this small moment of reconnection with her daughter and glad that their family is healing. 13:12
Ok Amabella’s bully Just went through your heads 😅 i guess you’ve finished it by now so its funny that you missed the hint, tbf I totally missed when I first watched too
6:10 lmao I worked at an office for about a year & everyone had one of those standing up desk except for me! I was so jealous cause there really were moments where I just wanted to stand up! Also I don't think you lift them, the ones at the office had buttons that made them go up or down. It was so cool lol
They're probably done the show by now but I'll still say this anyway. Why do they keep trying to solve the murder when you don't know enough yet to solve it. Like just watch the damn show so you can catch on to shit that's actually being shown to you. Furthermore none of the men in this show are perfect but shit Ed seems the most normal to me😂😂😂😂
The show literally starts with a murder, it's a murder mystery, looks pretty normal to me that they would keep wondering what happens. Also they seem to be noticing pretty well the subtleties of the scenario and the characters. If you just want them to watch and not speculate, you could always just rewatch the show by yourself
Well, as a reaction channel, it's kind of their job to put commentary over what they're watching. It's the literal point of the channel to share their thoughts on the media they're watching... and I feel like guessing and making theories is part of the fun of mysteries.
If anyone’s friends are ever more distant after a new relationship has started pls Keep reaching out to let them know you’re still there for them if they ever need it bc you never ever know what truly happens behind walls and closed doors ❤️🩹
