Mr. Alok Gupta, 53, is a New Delhi-based businessman. He has been dealing in high-end manufacturing and robotic machines for the last 22 years. Previously, he had served as the country manager of Philips India (EMT Division).

Dr. Farooq Adil (pronounced Aadil) is a renowned figure in literature, journalism, and research, known for his efforts to advance Urdu as Pakistan's national language. Born on September 15, 1962, in Liaqatpur Tehsil of Rahim Yar Khan, he earned his PhD in mass communication from the University of Karachi. His work as a pro-democracy intellectual and journalist has gained recognition both in Pakistan and internationally.
Dr. Adil’s groundbreaking research focused on how democratic politics can give way to autocratic rule, amending the Media Malaise Theory of public opinion. His findings have been internationally acknowledged, with particular relevance to third-world democracies like Pakistan.
He also played a pivotal role in promoting literary and cultural diplomacy, founding and editing the journal "Adbiyat International" under the Pakistan Academy of Letters, which brought together writers from diverse backgrounds.
With a 37-year career in investigative journalism and teaching, Dr. Adil designed the course "Practical TV Journalism" and trained journalists for the emerging electronic media. He also spearheaded efforts to enforce Urdu as the official language at the presidency under President Mamnoon Hussain.
Dr. Adil is a prolific author, with notable works such as "Hum Ne Jo Bhula Diya," "Eik Ankh Mein Amreeka," and "Jo Surat Nazar Ayi." His columns and articles continue to be highly regarded.
In recognition of his contributions to democracy, literature, and research, Dr. Adil was awarded the Pride of Performance by the President of Pakistan. He began his journalism career with "Takbeer" and has written for "Express" and BBC Urdu. He also served as advisor and press secretary to President Mamnoon Hussain.
