You’re are correct when you stated this is only for select collectors. Most of us are on some kind of budget, and would have to sacrifice others figures. It’s looks nice, but is out of my price range

Helped you out on that 3k sub goal 🎉 Also $800 for any one figure is absurd. $1100 for two jokers with a big diorama base and 99.9% accurate likeness is a much better deal. How much better could they possibly make it to justify that price? Nah, like you said, this is gonna be for a select few elite collectors.

When I first saw InArt‘s Joker offering I couldn’t wait to PO but I feel nothing with this JND. Some cool innovations like with articulated fingers but it’s just not enough for me. If anything these JND show me how much value my InArt set has. I paid just over 1k for 2 rooted figures, a jail diorama, loads of accessories. That’s tough to beat.

I don't collect a lot of 1/6th. I mainly stick to 1/12th. But this figure looks amazing. So I'll be picking up the A tier. I'm not a fan of the dogs or the second headsculpt. Also, i don't have the Inart one and i think this one looks a lot better.

Thanks for the shout, Riley. Now that the dust has settled for me, I agree with you that it’s a lot of money for what you get. However it does look to be the best so far when strictly talking about the figure design out the box. Nevertheless, the overall value with INART is still much better. I also appreciate what INART does by providing a statement diorama piece, offering that beautiful resin dio with Harry Potter, the massive prison bars dio with Joker, the gorgeous Murray’s Show set with the windows for the Phoenix Joker. They just have more of a “passion project” feel to me and they do this at a great price point. I’m still very much looking forward to the official JND PO announcement.

If these prices are correct, I wonder if it'll drive up the cost of the Inart set. But the value just isn't there for this one. I've been wanting a Heath Ledger Joker for a while now, but I wasn't gonna spend Inart prices. The new sculpted hair figure from Hot Toys is more than serviceable for me. It's a good likeness and it'll do what I want it to do.

Need to know the prices. I don't really care about the features like poseable fingers, silicone neck/head, the skull thing is weird. I care about likeness and quality so if this looks comparable to InArt/Hot Toys on my shelf, why am I paying $300-$500 more for a single figure?

I agree, $800 for that one figure and barebones accessories is just nuts. And as for people who try to use the "logic" that this is like comparing a Ferrari to a regular Audi, commonsense would tell them they're wrong. You park a Ferrari beside a regular Audi in your driveway and any layperson will be able to tell straight away that the Ferrari is a way more expensive and special supercar. You put this figure next to an Inart or HT artisan on your shelf and a layperson wouldn't have a clue that you've paid almost double or more than double whatever you paid for the InArt or HT equivalent. They might notice that the JND one is the best figure but so what? It isn't like owning a Ferrari vs owning an Audi and those ppl are just kidding themselves. But if they have the money go for it, but don't be surprised when the only expression of amazement you receive from ppl is that you actually spent $800 on that figure lol

If I didn’t have the Inart I’d probably get this. But I think at this point 1/6 collectors are having g a bit of joker fatigue. NOW if JND makes a 1/6 Whitebeard figure like their 1/3 statue Im all in!!! That was a piece I thought was unique and new cause they made a real looking version of an anime character. I want more pieces like that.

Let's call Type A to C, where C is the complete one. As we can see, Type B has a changable base. You will be able to change de inner part of the base between 2 options mantaining the black frame.

Fans shouldn't be fixated on "value." We should be happy to see another competitor pushing the boundaries of technology and realism. Fans were happy to see Inart improve quality at a much higher price point, but now are balking at JND for doing the same thing. Innovation is only going to increase quality across the board. This is great for fans if the final product matches the prototype, whereas HT and Inart only get about 70-90% there. JND = "justified new deal" You get custom level work for thousands less.

These aren't for the average HT collector. This is for JND's fanbase. It seems to be bordering on the custom realm. If what I heard about JND and if the rumored prices are accurate they will not give a hot shit what HT collector's think. I like the dogs and fact two of the sku's have a laughing sculpt. I'm definitely intrigued with the jointless system they employed. However I'm Joker'd out personally and I am not THAT big of a Heath Ledger Joker to go in on the JND offerings so its a pass for me. JND has now had two opportunities - video and photographs - to give us a clear picture of both portraits. We can see the extra detail in the side profile, but still have no idea how accurate the likeness truly is. This cryptic approach is baffling - if you've produced something exceptional, and are asking for a Kings ransom, surely you'd want to show it off to the max and generate widespread buzz, instead of leaving things in doubt?? I'm sure this will be impressive, though how much better can than it be and how much longevity will it have in comparison to Inart? From what I've seen, due to direction with the makeup, Inart looks more like Heath Ledger and JND (and the new Hot Toys version) appears more like the Joker, if that makes any sense.

I'm always happy when people have options, so I'm glad this exists, but I agree I've always felt that JND and their pricing is high enough that it has always pulled me away even when I am sort of interested. I think this figure looks great, and it's very possible it will be the best figure. But the InArt figure is nice too and when we are getting up in the price range they are talking about, it becomes a really difficult ask for any character unless it's your favorite character ever. Like I could see myself picking one JND figure up of a top-tier character to me, but I can't even imagine trying to collect any sort of extended line at this price point

Where I appreciate the technology that they are putting in with these six scale figures and I think it's amazing $2,000 is a definite no for me because I might as well just get a statue or a life-size boss because that price for a figure is out of the question for me I know some people think it's ridiculous but hell we've seen them create a life-size Hulkbuster that is a lot of money and where some of these statues you would think no one would buy some of them sell out and they're close to $1,000 so I appreciate what they are doing I believe in staying in my lane and what I can afford and I already have a sculpted hairdo coming my way next year hopefully so this will be a definite no for me but I appreciate the technology that they are putting into figures

honestly hot toys joker that's coming for me is the best one, inart was forcing me to buy 2 figures and i dont need them and also the head is too big for the shoulders proportion wise, this one jnd look better than both but the cost is out of the world and also we dont know how much time it will last beiing in silicon, so ht is the best overall for me.

Yes, this is HIGHLY overpriced but many would maybe pay the price for a character that has not been made for a LONG time. For instance, new Terminator figure or Elen Ripley. Another Joker when you can get him elsewhere? Nope.

The 2k pack is outragously bad, would never pay for something like that, especially since INART gets way more accessories and a base. But for me I just want the best heath ledger purple jacket 1/6 Type A. I am personally cancelling my artisan HT joker for this, as they cannot get the rooted hair right. Inart is always great but the actual sculpt, the eyes are too big and close together. This is THE heath ledger for the small market because they are targetting against custom 1/6 Jokers which are this expensive. If you think about it, The artisan joker is $500 and the JND Type A is $300 more.. which includes a better sculpt and overall more accurate item. I am for sure excited for this, but like I said, anything after the Type A isn't worth it tbh. Especially since you have to remove the whole suit to change the second sculpt from the neck piece.

I think type A is also the way to go! If you have the artisan joker I would hands down go with the JND single. That’s the right choice imo and that’s awesome to see you’re in on this. 95% of people are out lol, so congrats on the piece! This is the joker sculpt hands down

This character is way too oversaturated. No need for a thousand versions of him when there are so many others that have yet to be done. The price tag is absolutely ridiculous, I even thought InArt wasn't worth it after getting it in hand the and the damn magnet hands kept falling with the gun and he couldn't stand up. They are just taking these whale collectors to the bank now with this price.

That’s totally fair, I think we may have too many jokers at this point but I don’t blame JND for doing him. They probably had this in the pipeline for years so switching directions was probably tough for them. Thanks for watching!
