I wonder why the Plaintiff did not present that evidence since it was a text exchange between them. He was on the verge of losing this case before the Defendant ironically saved the day
2nd message summary "if you need more time to pay the loan that's fine" How the defendant interpreted it, "must mean I don't have to pay it back anymore!" Defendant is completely delusional xD
@@brocktoon8he is a sleazebag. They were friends, she had just gotten out of a DV relationship, can’t work due to looking after her adult disabled son and this guy knew she needed 4k to pay a lawyer to secure the custody of her baby thinking that meant he could use it to sleep with her. Hence why he hadn’t tried to sleep with her prior to giving her the money. No sane person tries it on with their friend whilst they’re going through a situation like that… when they’re vulnerable. He knew she couldn’t pay it back and only demanded it when she rejected him.
@@brackenrobertson799then you could say they were both trying to use each other, but it definitely wasn’t just the guy, the girl was an idiot to have kids she can’t take care of and without a job so she used the guy
You’re the one easily manipulated considering he was her friend, knew she just got out of a DV relationship, was looking after her adult disabled son AND is currently going to court to ensure her abuser doesn’t get custody of her baby yet this guy has “sex” on his mind. If he wasn’t trying to use the money as a gateway to sleeping with her, why wouldn’t he have tried it on with her, idk, maybe… when she wasn’t in a vulnerable situation? If you’re defending him knowing all this then I fear for any woman you’re friends with.
@@brackenrobertson799 shouldn’t have had a baby w a shitty guy, it’s not like they just turn into one all of a sudden, there’s signs and that’s not anyone else’s problem but her own, if she can’t afford it that’s on her she can ask her mom
“That’s rude…”. No. What’s rude there cupcake, is to take advantage of a nice guy and use him for his money. Then ridicule him because he happened to like you. And I agree with JJ. Don’t make more kids if you’re having to struggle to take care of the ones you already have.
A professional victim? She was abused by her ex, is looking after her adult disabled son and is in court because a man that was supposed to be her friend gave her money, that he knew she couldn’t pay back, and thought he could use it as leverage to sleep with her. The guys a proffesional manipulator and you’ve been had, clearly. No sane person try’s to sleep with their friend when they’re in a vulnerable situation like that.
@@brackenrobertson799 the text messages clearly proved other wise since she acknowledged in text she owed it did you miss that part?? Also She was ALLEGEDLY abused by her ex (aka no proof of that in this court)
@@brackenrobertson799if she knew she couldn't pay it back why agree to pay it back in the first place or accept the money. That guy was nice enough to help the "victim" and this is how she repays him huh smh
Judge Judy is a national treasure for that “not much of a prize” line. Between her and Judge Joe Brown I don’t think there’s anyone left on earth who can appropriately roast people on a judicial level. 🤣
Kinda makes me question her custody "battle" with her baby daddy. She initiated the lawsuit - claims she has a restraining order - I am thinking she just used him, wants to control his access to the child and take his money and look like a victim. Manipulator!
Sorry but are you stupid? She took him to court to ensure custody is in her name. It’s funny that no one, not the judge nor the plaintiff, questioned that her ex was abusive but you - the random online guy - is. She initiated it to ensure her ex couldn’t push for custody. You couldn’t even be logical yet you’re using your, very limited, brain power to defend a random guy that you know is abusive. Crazy.
i thought JJ was already going to rule she had to do a payment of 20 bucks a week (earlier video)..... that's why she pulled out the text hoping it would show it was a gift.. i think she was going to rule against the defendant anyway..
@@jegca No, that's not the impression I got at all. If you follow her reasoning she was talking about having an expectation to pay and she was telling the defendant he could not have an expectation to be paid back because she was getting government assistance alone.
Mommy, and two baby daddys wasn't cutting it financially, so she took advantage of the high school crush that she didn't want anything to do with rather than taking his money. The entitlement makes me sick to my stomach.
She’s a real piece of work I can’t believe JJ didn’t call her a hustler cause she’s pretty good at making excuses so she doesn’t have to pay back money she even says are loans..
I don't agree with that annoying expression. I've found the opposite to be true. I've learnt to recognize evil in people, so hopefully this guy has, too. Watching Judge Judy has helped a lot.
Says alot about her as a person because you can tell she thought JJ meant her physical appearance, when really JJ judges who's a prize and who isn't by their character 😂
Something tells me she was the pretty popular girl in high school and still thinks she holds that title. Plus JJ was talking about her shitty behavior and character, but her shallow ass thinks she was being attacked for her looks.
If he had said 'don't worry about paying me back' and then wanted the money back after she rejected him that would be one thing, but this was established as a loan from the start. This woman has a pretty high opinion of herself if she refuses to pay him back and justifies it as 'well he was just trying to get with me so he deserves it'.
HER texts show him saying he'd rather her be able to feed her kids than rush to repay him, and she has the nerve to try to deflect with "He tried to ask me out!!"
Didn’t look like the Plaintiff had proof that this was a loan other than his word. Given her financial situation, it was questionable. Thank goodness she felt obliged to print out her texts…
I believe that when JJ said "you don't look like that much of a prize" she was referring to her actions and character, not her looks, as the defendant took it.
In a lot of these cases, particularly when it's a man suing a woman over money or property, JJ will say, _"Look, you say he's been harassing you, stalking you, he won't leave you alone... Give him back his truck (or his bike or his kayak or his vintage set of baseball cards)."_ And the woman will say, _"But it was a gift! He told me he wanted me to have it!"_ JJ: _"But, if you give it back, maybe he'll just vanish in a puff of smoke. Wouldn't that be a small price to get rid of him?"_ I think (here) JJ *_IS_* saying, _"He's not stuck on you! He wants his money back, and if you can't stand him asking you out, give him his money back, and maybe he'll feel like he doesn't need anything else from you!"_
"You don't look like that much of a prize" You have to really get under her skin for JJ to go there lol. Once she read their text exchanges she knew she was dealing with a user and that the plaintiff, even if he secretly hoped for more... ultimately was just trying to be a nice guy and got manipulated.
The lady really threw her own case by opening her mouth and saying she had texts that acknowledged the loan. Not even Phoenix Wright is going to get her out of this one.
This lady is a piece of work and is full of herself. Not to mention she’s a professional victim. Nothing is her fault and she expects for others to fix her problems. I feel bad for her kids and the role model her 1 year old has.
Wow Judge. 🤣 She told her! She’s a user! Glad he won and good karma was on his side because her receipts was honest because she looks like she could never be honest.
Yep.. JJ skinned her alive about having more kids than she is capable of taking care of, and with that "prize" remark.. She initiated that legal recourse with her baby daddy and used plaintiff's kindness to fund it.. When girls prey on men for money.. Just return his money will ya.. 🙄
This is epic JJ lunchtime crew. The character development over four parts was sublime and those take downs at the end whilst bigging up the plaintiff, Just perfection!
