Nah, that's total disinformation. Carney actually deftly steered the Bank of England through Brexit and the pandemic. He's far, far more qualified & fit to lead Canada than Poilievre, who is totally unqualified & unfit to be PM.

Tom I don’t think Carney can do anything to change Canadians anti-liberal politics. He may be more experienced financially but he has the same values, especially on carbon taxing and the organizations he’s involved with.

@Vassy: not sure if you did a story on CPP. Just heard that for the last 5 years CPP did a 0.8% increase. Given this inflation has just eaten at least 10% of CPP money (given our crazy inflation it is probably closer to 20).

Trudeau with Freeland have mismanaged the economy all along now. More of the same will make things worse. Spending, larger deficits and growing debt will only make things worse and this is all they seem to know how to do. I feel sorry for the next generation that will be saddled with the debt interest payments that will so so laege they reduce money available for services. The Liberals need to go along with Trudeau. Politics is cyclical for a reason.
