nope for me Navia didn't save geo, she is in her own league even without buffer just using E > burst > NA > E > NA with proper talent level, weapon and artifact already give her a so much damage

No, not on her own. But she indicates the change in approach to how they might be thinking about GEO. More as solo characters that get buffs from crystals in some way that you can slot into other teams. Yun Jin was already heading that way the way her kit shook out.

She didn't save geo, she just brought something new. I would still prefer to run a mono-geo team than her teams. Also sad that she's not good in mono-geo. But I'm glad that geo is getting some recognition now because of her.

Imo she didn’t save it because it still doesn’t really do anything for any other geo characters besides her. It’s still a very passive reaction that you don’t have to alter your playstyle for at all. She also doesn’t utilize the shielding effect or have to build into the reaction at all. The funniest part is that she’s only helped the reaction by just changing it altogether. With Navia, crystallize crystals essentially just turn into gyoba chills that her E picks up for you

She almost removed the dependency. She is just unique and niche just like other new characters. She made it possible to play geo without depending on 2 slots for geo. Her best teams might not need geo.

mono geo aren't weak because geo units itself have much higher multiplier to compensate against others. Geo still isn't on par with other elements just because one okay unit was added, the entire geo is still fxcked nonetheless. Why the hell did you add albedo to navia teamcomp? His construct is way too fragile and he doesn't add anything to the team. Besides he's kinda okay way before navia even exist.

it's just sad that people are overestimating gorou that much, his c6 is not even a huge damage boost, his c4 heals is very low, his constellations matters a little. it all comes with his passive when he uses his burst and that huge flat def he gives when he uses his skill. gorou is not even a huge buffer for geo at all. i even use zhongli/gorou/(benny or mona/ itto. because gorou is just not enough i've been using my only c2 gorou before and i never had problems with my team, itto's dps is so strong, it's just geo has a lot of missing mechanics in their element.

and mono geo wasn't even the best geo team...for example itto albedo gorou with a flex like mona or bennet is better than gorou albedo zhongli with itto and if you dont have albedo then you can replace his spot with zhongli but the flex always exist.

Lucky you. Lost my 50/50 and got Mona C3. Was thinking for saving up for Cloud Retainer but im gonna use my primogems to secufe Navia since I farmed all her materials. Been losing all my 50/50's and no early 5 stars. Ever.

I had that with furina, but I rlly want navia hoping to god I get that luck again 😅

raiden is good if you're going for meta but you will overall have a much more fun playstyle with navia

Aayaka was top tier when she was first released. Stil very good but there are so many teams nowadays

Ayaka is easy to build with the Blizzard Strayer set, has a great F2P weapon, Amenoma Kageuchi, has Cryo infusion on demand, and her damage is solid. Putting her on a team with double Cryo (or even a Freeze team), she is amazing. It's only going up from that point onward. Have no regrets.

No reason to use both navia and ningguanh

Or if Raiden saved electro. A character can't save an element. They can just be good enough that their element doesn't hold them back.To save an entire element? That takes something like an artifact set (imagine anemo without VV) or a new elemental interaction (like how dendro saved electro).

Who knew the best way to utilize Crystalize, was to just 2nd Amendment them at your opponents?

Imo at their peak it's probably similar damage with itto being slightly better, but itto's team is Expensive (2 other 5 stars and c6 gorou) and navia can just go bennett xiangling ningguang

She should have at least 80%. I recommend 90%.

With serpent spine I would suggest trying to aim to get the remaining crit rate through sub stats and use A CD circlet but if the substrate aren’t nice to you then just use CR circlet

More like the new artifact set kinda saved geo. Geo's problem is that they're too constrained on one type of playstyle only and the worse part is that it is a mono geo. Genshin's elemental mechanics should have made most elements interact with each other so that variety of playstyle can be made. Sticking Geo on mono element teams kinda strays from the Genshin's core game mechanics so it was about time. If they really want to sell geo they need to add other playstyle for Geo itself since there's not a lot of players that really want themselves to be limited on a single repetitive playstyle since it could get boring pretty quickly. Also why create crystallize reaction when they're releasing characters that can create shield? It doesn't make any sense tbh. Why create a mechanic where the game doesn't encourage you to use it?

Yea she was never meant solve geo. She works because of insanely high modifiers and a good qol kit.

yeah, if you actually play mono geo. you'll see how this is not that much. but mono geo is a very underrated team and very few people play this team. that's why everyone is losing their minds to navia

Aside from the dopamine hit from seeing big numbers, the reason Navia is good right now is how minimal on-field time she needs to deal 80% of her kits damage. The shotgun is pretty instant.

Navia works better as a quickswap subDPS than as an on-fielder. Her damage is too concentrated on her skill so the rest of her kit does much less damage to compensate
