Good luck with your lecture Brad, now you'll get to see how Rach feels with homeschooling! Looking forward to whatever you all decided to do on Instagram or RU-vid.
I understand that vlogging with 5 children is difficult! Especially with toddlers. They all have needs that have to be tended to. Vlog when you can and don't apologize for not doing it all the time. Anyone children understands! Your children are beautiful, intelligent and well behaved what more can a parent ask for! Keep up the great work making your family first!
I think you are amazing to be able to make any videos with 5 children. Your kids are getting so big! Enjoy the toddler years with the little ones. It goes by so fast.
You guys are the absolute best! You’re nailing homeschooling Rach. Listening to your plans for the future now teaching all five at the table is exciting & we would LOVE to come along for that ride of course! THANK YOU. It takes a lot of effort to vlog more, we know but YESSSSS!!!!!! Thank you! Very much appreciated & enjoyed from over here in Australia 🇦🇺 XO
Do not apologize, we understand. Or if some of us don't then maybe they should get themselves 5 kids that will help them understand. I went back to your wedding video today. Cried through the whole thing. Brad's words of you going to be the best Mother to your children. ❤❤❤❤❤ He knew!! And I agree. Your both beautiful and absolutely wonderful parents.
Don't apologize for not vlogging I don't know how you two manage as it is. I love watching your children are all so awesome so it will be fun to see a bit more. I enjoy you two as well and you are as entertaining as the kids. Great channel, lovely family , keep up the great job your doing. Things seem very different than here in Western Canada.
I am a teacher to high school kids, this is gonna be my last year,I have enjoyed every minute. I teach English as a second language, You are doing a fantastic job homeschooling Rachel but it is something I would never have done even if I was given the opportunity.😊❤
Love the jokes you have prepared for your talk! No pressure on vlogging. It is a very busy time in your life and I want you to enjoy this phase without added stress. Have a great start to your school!
Both my girls struggled for different reasons in public school. My oldest was gifted & my youngest had ADD struggles. After extensive research, I found the book The Well-Trained Mind by Susan Wise Bauer and started using some of her techniques during the summer. We called it summer school & by adding a lot of field trips it still felt like summer vacation Children lose a lot of their educational momentum during the summer so the limited time we spent doing more focused study was valuable & helped keep them on track until school started again. Homeschooling allows for true differentiation in educating children with different learning abilities too. My girls are now in college & doing really well. My oldest is a grad student majoring in Integrative Biology. She just won an award for best student presentation at a symposium in CA. My youngest is a senior this year majoring in art & is really enjoying school. Love your vlogs! p.s. Greek & Latin when kids are young will help them immensely when taking COGATs, ACT's & PSAT's
I don think kids lose that much. Heck they are bare,y out of school a month and a half now. If kids are active during the summer and go on trips and things like that they will be fine. Kids need downtime as well.
@@nancyfarkas3592 I guess using the term summer school implies hours doing paperwork but we didn't do that. Crafts & exploratory events & projects were more mindful fun. Field trips that allowed plenty of "downtime" & would lead to information gathering led by curiosity.
Ooh ocular histoplasmosis. If you have any sailors hailing from the Mississippi or Ohio river valleys it can sneak up on them. Unfortunately, mine was right in my central vision on my right eye and no amount of injections, cold laser therapy, or surgery would correct the leaking. Leaking so I ultimately decided to get a little hot laser therapy and zapped the leaky histo spot. It rendered me almost blind in my right eye, but anything was better than that. Freaking leaking. I do have the histo spots all over both eyes, fortunately, they are all in my peripheral vision. I see them leak and it drives me bat crap crazy but it does not affect my vision.
Never apologise for not vlogging. The first time visit to the ophthalmologist with a sore eye when moving my eye, they put eye drops in & then I went to play on my phone & was like oh I can’t see it lol
I'm so glad I've found you guys again. I haven't watched a video from you in over a year, maybe longer. I became a full-time babysitter for a newborn grandbaby. She took up most of my time. I'm a retired cosmetologist. I have done hair for 31 years. I think Rachel did a fabulous job on the haircut... but I said, "Oh no, Rachel, don't rub your hands together like that after cutting hair." The tiny hair can get in your skin like a spinter. And they are very hard to get out. 😂
THAT is a new one! I’ve never known that hair csn get embedded in your skin! I don’t see HOW it could go IN to your skin! I’ve never had that happen, to my knowledge.
We understand..not to say you aren't missed. I look for your IG every day. But, I do understand and realize if you are MIA, it is for good reasons! Love ya!
Ah if the cornea is not so sensitive as some other stuff ,is that why when I had a cornea transplant I had no pain at all after the needle numbing the eye had been done I honestly expected to be in awful pain ..over a year later I have had no pain ..
You are qualified to teach you kids according to your background. I have seen parents homeschool that deginitely do need to be teaching any kids much less their own. That is the thing about homescooling, parents that should not be responsible for kids education.
Don’t vlog every day. It’s just not possible with having 5 small children and homeschooling but we love to see the family so if you could give us one vlog a week to see your family grow that would be fun. You owe us nothing at all we are lucky to get a glimpse.
