Haha! That’s funny. Yeah the dead bolt just needed to fill the hole. We aren’t worried about anyone messing with our meat that’s hanging. If someone needs it that bad, they can have it 😉

Wow, that peacock's feathers are stunning. Hopefully he's happy in his new pen. For everyone who said prayers - Update on Stephen: Major surgery removed 95% of the tumour- Yeah! Another 3 1/2hr surgery to remove the drain and insert a permanent shunt and Stephen is home getting lots of TLC from his mama. Use of his legs is back and eyesight improved. Hopefully in 6 weeks time, chemotherapy starts. Thank you for the continued prayers. God Bless.

Oh, yes. I do see sunlight for the runner ducks! Does Reba like to be stand offish or do he others push her away? Please come home Luna! The next time you have to catch the peacock, after catching him cover his head and eyes. It calms them right down and they become docile in your arms.

In the wild, peacocks can live around 20 years. In captivity, they can live as long as 40 to 50 years.

I had 15 peacocks & peahens. The males outlived the females. I had mine for about 30yrs & after they were hatched from eggs.

Several years ago we had someone in our neighborhood who had three peacocks that roamed the area. For some reason, they liked to roost on our back fence. Their tails are beautiful when they fluff out, but they are noisy birds.

Hang a share dead bolt key on the inside so if anyone locks someone in by mistake they can get out. But low enough so any child can get it also put a motion light on the inside and rig it up so a light also shines outside to let you know if someone is in there. Put out side the building facing the house. Just a safety precaution. Love your video

The door CAN NOT be locked, there is no hole in the frame for the dead bolt to go into. Do you honestly think Gary would lock Ransom in a room that he might not be able to get out of? Gary explained while Ransom was in there and when he was out that Ransom was not really locked in because it was not possible.

@@joanneriley3899 no I was a suggestion . Accidents do happen. My 24 year cousin got lock in a walk in freeze thank God there was a glass door. They figured the dog bumped the door and it closed. End of my story. And no Gary would not lock is children in there. But children are children when playing. Have a wonderful day

At least when released the peacock was seeming relaxed, not agitated by his treatment just before. He will need to explore his new larger freedom, as seen he was exploring the fence line, at least that is what I thought in the final scenes.

I decided I had to say this---you need MORE CHILDREN! You both are so good with your kids, even teasing Ransom that he was locked into the freezer camp. He has no fear and Mazzy should have a sissy. All kidding aside, you are great parents and it shows in the kids reactions to both of you. It is so wonderful viewing all of you I watch and am subscribed to your blog/vlogs. @@WalkerFarmFam I agree with this comment. Even though I’d never tell someone they need more kids, because it sounds crazy when yoj already have 3 and a farm. Technically Cassie has 4 with you Gary lol but y’all are such an amazing family. You are amazing parents and I strongly believe more kids need you. And I am sure god will plant those kiddos right where they need to be when the time is right. And maybe those will not just be foster babies. I don’t know how much room y’all have left with the kiddos but it would be amazing to see y’all change a kiddos life for the better. Love y’all!!! Watching Ransom drink from the hose brings back memories of my youth. Tell him I really like his tennis shoes! The Highlands look right at home and healthy. Their horns are just amazing! I love your goatherd and enjoyed watching you feed them animal crackers. Do you all process the goats for personal consumption? I happen to love mutton. Haven't had any in a long time. Oh Mazzy's going to get her doll? That was very sweet so thank you to the thoughtful person that helped her. Beautiful Mr. Peabody...sorry you got poo'd on. You all are a joy to watch! He's a handsome peacock love his teal color. I think their faces are unique and pretty, amazing all the beauty in God's creatures! So happy he's free to roam now and hope the Roosters are nice to him one of Dutches Chickens picked on Bobby his peacock and they had to rehome and that was after he had been around them all for a while. Just decided one day he didn't like the peacock and was going after him pretty good! Bobby would go into the woods to stay away from that chicken. They re-homed him to Dutch's brother. So might have to keep an eye out for a while just to keep him safe.God Bless and you all stay safe and warm😊❤🙏

@@WalkerFarmFam Yes I heard you speak of that but you also said he had no problem. So I wasn't sure if you knew about his Rooster he rehomed to his brother because they weren't getting along!

@@debrakellett7763 I said it was different because his rooster and peacock were both mature and had hens around. I said we didn’t have problems with the rooster he’s been in a pen with (up until now) because that rooster is young plus there were no hens. Now he’s with different roosters but not roosters that pick on each other. Dutch still has his peacock with a rooster. Just got rid of the bulky rooster 👍🏻 Also, our peacock is still young and not mature. If ours start picking on each other, we’ll move them around. Didn’t say Dutch didn’t have a problem. Said we haven’t.

Oh guys I hope te Tom turkey and peacock get along-Cog Hills got along great for years till one breeding season then they fought-and bad . the turkey was most killed! Had to seperate-no problems with roosters though. But then again yall dont have pea hens so maybe that helps with them getting along :) Its always fun to watch Ransom eager to help his dad cute guy!! While you are not needing to use the dead bolt yet, you might want to put the locking side of deadbolt on the outside of your door, LOL. It will be ready for you when you decide to complete the installation.
