Your sarcasm about Westerners being genius made me chuckle. We Westerners, at least the common people, are quite simple people. Most of us are just trying to make ends meet, not because we are good or humble, but because our reach and options are limited. Me, I'm trying to get a job so I can build my retirement home and have something to pass on to my family after I die. That's all my focus is these days. Evil genius!? We don't have the time or energy for such high jinks. 😂

"English is dead"? Some may think that English is predominate because England colonized and controlled so much of the world , and that is part of it. But not the only reason. Independent of history: There are more words in English by several times vs any other language, with more shades of meaning. You can say things more precisely and in fewer words than any other language. I was a software engineer working on internationalized apps, and we had to leave extra space on the screens because words like name, address, phone etc were always longer in other languages. We translated manuals into other languages and they got longer and sometimes they had a hard time translating at all. The very language of modern tech is english, requiring english words in any case. Plus there is the "installed base" of english documents and english speakers. NOT going away no matter what anyone wants. It is impossible to translate all those manuals into other languages, and enlish is the language that more people speak than any other. Amusing bonus story: Germany was required by NATO to have more soldiers and Germans did not want to do it. So they thought they would hire eastern European soldiers and have German officers. But should they make the soldiers learn German, or would the officers learn Polish? Hard problem either way. Then someone thought, we could just use english and 80% of them already know. They did not like the enswer, but there it is. I don't think they ever hired Polish soldiers, but the story illustrates the situation. English isn't going anywhere, except in the delusional propaganda nationalist imagination.

Very True. Just the sheer volume of Software Manuals of all types, makes English immovable.
@susank4878
@susank4878 11 месяцев назад
English gobbles up words from any language. English grammar is optional -- the sense comes through without it. Word order barely matters. English speaking people will listen to any staggering awkward attempts by people who hardly know any English, and they will manage to get some meaning from it. English also is the language used by pilots, since it's important that all people flying planes or controlling air traffic always need to understand each other.
@dannyboy-vtc5741
@dannyboy-vtc5741 11 месяцев назад
I agree with the most of what you said besides the word volume, english has it large but nothing sone others have, also english has an enourmous amount of loanwords, only english origin is actually quite small and ordinary. As for complexity and translations from english, yes for software in languages that are not developed around tech, and countries in general, but as someone who usually translates into english, there's a huge amount of words we havrle that english doesn't have a single word for it, it's just a cultural thing and what the life revolved around and evolved its dictionary and the fund of words, like some bordic nations have nine words for snow, same like english think they arw a maritime nation, but the amount of words related to the sea and its features in english compared with the most of mediterranean nations is actually poor, it just depend on a facet of life where some languages are way richer than others. English does have an advantage of easy acceptance of foreign words, and ofc the modern age and it cemented it forever, but for translating the english in software like here, actually we have a lot of worfs again that are often just one word where english needs a compound word or two words, the other thing is that a lot of those words are not often used in everyday speech and are often confusing for someone like me who grew up in the 80s and 90s on english software and till today uses any os in english because i'm used to it, but windows in craotian for someone not tech savy is far easier for their needs and purposes. Maybe it's a feature of our language and our distinct dialects that differ more in vocabulary than entire other languages and the fact we have three different names for every noun depending on a dialect but i don't see english as rich from my perspective, i also heard from englishmen that imigrated here they faced that problem when they had troubles to learn the language, immersed themselves into thr local surroundings and then went 100 km away and realised that lgge they learnt doesn't work there at all, yet both are equally croatian.

@INSIDERUSSIA Konstantin, I watched this video tonight, the day you made it. You mentioned your video about leaving Russia. I did not watch that video before, because I thought it would be distressing. I tend to empathise easily and I could imagine a lot of pain. However, tonight I decided that I really should watch it to see what it was like for you. I am very glad I did so. Of course, it is very sad to have to leave your country. But if it has been taken over by a dictator who is doing evil things and if you do not want to share in the evil, it is right to leave. At the very least, you have probably helped to save more lives than just your own. Keep going, Konstantin. Putin is old and sick, with perhaps only a few years left. Who knows, he may get too close to a window one day. What happens after that will determine whether Russia is able to return to its former place in the community of prosperous democratic nations, or remain a pariah state, blocked in by sanctions. I will continue to share in your prayers at the end of your shows. I add my prayers for you and your family, and for the people of Russia and Ukraine. God bless you and your work, Konstantin.

They deserve better and they know better. But the Lunatics are in charge of the Asylum. It’s like a schizophrenic is the leader and irrational ideas are being pushed. Unfortunately the consequences are disastrous. English is a dead language? That is laughable. Enemy languages? Wishful thinking by a sick regime. They really shouldn’t let this nonsense out into public because it’s so childish.

Russian moon mission was a huge success! Unlike feeble western moon missions that land their ships softly on the moon's surface, the heroic Russian moon lander conducted a major impact maneuver into the moon with great success! Russian moon lander Luna 25 beat the hell out of the moon!

Apparently in Russia only the cities have Internet, while the villages have Internyet. But instead of sending a guy to each village to read the news out loud, they should go for the modern solution of placing a vcr in one of the village houses, then run cables from that house to all the other houses and play the news on the vcr.

Good stream! I do have one question. Do you really think Putin will be “gone” by the end of this year? That’s only 2 months🤷🏼‍♂️ I hope you’re right, but I have a hard time understanding that. Unless you have some information the rest of us don’t. Anyways, keep up the good work.

I've been searching videos etc about ilya Ponomarev. He is networking with people ready to replace putin, such as the Legion "Freedom of Russia" and they are also releasing putin's imprisoned dissidents in trade of POWs. Ilya Ponomarev believes that they will be ready to take out putin's regime and build a legitimate civil Democracy as soon as Ukraine pushes russians out of Ukraine...And some Ukrainians will help. Ilya Ponomarev said in an interview not too long ago that it could happen this year, but at least "before 2025" 💙👍
