But Ramsdale is a very good top team keeper. He’d walk into many PL starting lineups, including the likes of Chelsea and Spurs. It’s just that teams like Arsenal, City, Liverpool, and even United have better keepers for the type of ball-dominant football the elite teams look to play. That’s not his strength
Dont think its inconsistency, arteta just requires specific qualities from his gk's like claiming crosses, accurate long balls and patience when on the ball. Ramsdale can do all of that but not to raya's level and thats why hes been dropped. Arteta would sacrifice shot stopping for those qualities cause 90% of the time those qualities are used more than shot stopping
