If everyone was using the same sets I could agree - and we can see that for the teams that use the same gear. IB S3 to S4 dmg went down by 50% from average 150M(I base it on last week of Vortex as this is the data provided by people to me) to 75M in first week of S4(Not maxed affinity during my tests). This is mostly due to lack of Frurbath, loss of Pupeeter and Aerial set. Dauntless Damage has went up, mainly due to Radiant Supports making team viable and able to survive as long as Rook team can. Again - no min/max here too, so potential to growth is the same. Rook team with Exclusive on my server does on average 300-500M( I know other servers do 1.5B) and his dmg has went down to 120M. Obviously the affinity would boost it quite significantly and maybe when they fix the ATK%/Crit Rate set his dmg will be in the 300M range again, but that gear fix would also boost IB damage. Does it mean that Rook is balanced? Definitely no, and needs adjustment in some form, but this season others might be closer than in the previous seasons.
@@Gorax closer yes. But my point is starting gap was too big for it to make any difference. I bet Rook teams will still take whole top 100 on my server as they did in S3. Probably even more as more players will get Rook.
This is likely to happen, as once I start min maxing I can see Rook again taking over the world. Other teams are closer, but they don't have such scaling.

@@Gorax When I used Zhorak and Gerthin together against the continental boss (with Shinnah Beldelle and Frurbath) Zhorak outdamaged Gerthin by a bit, and he was equiped with the hourglass, and Gerthin with Ravatrix. And also the aura was crit damage which didn't help Zhorak. Also if you're using Beldelle, Zhorak increases Beldelle's damage, doesn't that count for something?
