Did Sandra Garner Kill Her Husband? 

Duh the dogs didn’t bark because they knew the intruder AKA Wes! The cops really dropped the ball 🙄🙄

Simple. It was Wes. Why? 1. He went to the police to accuse her of doing this. 2. The dogs didn't bark because they knew Wes. 3. His alibi is ridiculous. 4. He told the family the murder weapon had been found. How did he know it was the murder weapon? Maybe because he used it... 5. The gun wasn't there and then it was. My theory on that is this: who would know it was there, if it even was? (which I don't believe it ever was). Wes. I believe he thought he could put the gun back there before the car was searched and that is why the gun wasn't there the first time the car was searched. 6. Am I the only one who thinks Wes seems gleeful when he's being interviewed by the police? Because he seems like he is having the time of his life. And last, Sandra had absolutely NO reason to do this.

That 911 call was 100% genuine. She was asking how to help her dying husband. I had chills her voice said it all.

Sorry but the fact that she was depressed from her MS & wanting to kill herself, she wouldn't kill the person that kept her alive, stable, & protected.

... It's really suspicious that the gun magically showed back up after they had already searched the car. Personally, the son sounds extremely sketchy and they should have looked harder at him.

someone broke into my house , i was inside and the lights where on and he didn't cover his face, i was threatened with a knife so he was close to me . the crazy part is that i don't remember his face because of the trauma . Its is possible not to recognize your own son if you are overwhelmed .

As an actor, either that woman is telling the truth or she deserves an Oscar. It would not be easy to fake that genuine of a reaction.

My thought on Sandra not recognizing Wes assuming he IS the killer, I just think most of the time you would NEVER in a million years think your child could do this to you and that kind of information would be hard to process with your mind under so much stress, disoriented from sleep and probable shock watching your spouse dying in front of you

I cannot believe that they zeroed in on Sandra and didn't consider her son. He literally pointed the finger and they fell for it, I have never seen such shitty police work before! She needs to sue them if she hasn't done it already!

I don't usually comment, but when I say I FELT that woman's anguish through the screen, I mean it. She is not a killer. Her genuine confusion as they switched to questioning her as a murder suspect was heartbreaking. You can watch her look back and forth between the two as if checking if anyone will believe her.

When Wes went to police to point a finger at his own mother but refused to back up why he thought she might with the biggest grin on his face, I knew he did it. He shows no pain at John’s death-certainly not the level of feeling for his stepdad that would override his loyalty to his mother and drive him immediately to the police station to present nothing more than suspicions. He couldn’t even bother to make something up like that he had witnessed them fighting that night. And the police saying he wasn’t smart enough to carry it out-he didn’t have to do much!! Halfway competent cops might be a little bit suspicious of the guy who is too eagerly pointing at someone else and who seems waaaay too confident about where that gun would be.

The jury got it right, and Wes got away with murder. Sandra’s reaction when the paramedics told her that John was dead was so real that it was obvious she hadn’t killed him. I’ve heard that myself and this was, in my opinion, genuine shock and grief. The only thing I find a bit off is her returning to the house straight after John was killed. This was the worst police investigation I’ve ever heard of, and I’ve watched hundreds of true crime documentaries. Shameful.

I can 100% believe that she wouldn’t recognize him. That would be such a terrible, traumatic experience. You wouldn’t know what was going on. It’s dark, your ears are ringing, your eyes are adjusting, dogs probably barking, someone screaming at you.

Sandra did not kill her husband. She’s not acting like a killer, she’s acting like a women who was falsely accused.

I genuinely started to cry hearing Sandra's call. She sounds so distraught and emotional. I have never ever felt so certain of someone's innocence before.

I really feel sorry for Sandra. She had to spend all that time in prison for something she didn't do. Grieving for her husband and suffering with m.s on top of that. Can she get any compensation for that? Especially as the son was not investigated properly. Thank you again for your video Kendall

I thought it was the son whenever he immediately went to the cops without even checking on his mom then the murder weapon magically ends up exactly where he said it wld be. The fact that he so happily announced to the in-laws that they found the murder weapon. Totally Wes.

i considered the son right away, just the way he said “i don’t want to say…my mom”, no real hesitation, just straight away, plus he seemed to be TOO HELPFUL to the investigation

I think the son did it. Its pretty obvious. The son kept everyone's eyes on his mom especially when they found the gun and what he did immediately after.

Man, that poor woman was almost thrown in prison for the rest of her life for something she obviously didn’t do. The son definitely killed him, and the fact that he’s walking around free is disturbing.

Isn’t a little strange that Wes told police to check the car a SECOND time and told exactly where the gun was to the seat placement.

Here's what seals her innocence for me: There is no way that she could have disposed of the gun after shooting her husband. His body was still warm when officers arrived, but the gun was nowhere to be found. There's no way she could have hidden it AND called 911 AND perform CPR well enough to keep her husband alive until several minutes before law enforcement arrived on scene, and when you add the fact that she's disabled on top of that? No freaking way.

I think it’s also sus that Wes pointed out to investigators that “the dogs would have barked and they would have had more of a warning”. Considering that the dogs would know Wes, that could be why they didn’t bark.

The son sounds a little suspicious. He seemed a little too eager to place the blame on his mom. Also to the Netflix point....you can hit play on a movie and walk away from the screen.

When I saw Wes talking to the Police first thing that I noticed was him grinning/smiling and he did not come off upset nor bothered nor distraught while, talking to the Police about the murder nor when he told the Police that he suspected that his Mother murdered John. Plus, the gun in her car was not found on the first search, but after Wes tells the Police that the gun was in her car under her seat, and it was wrapped in a towel and in a plastic bag that looked like he planted the gun in her car. Sandra had Multiple Sclerosis, which the nerves in the body causes the muscles to tense frozen or constantly jerk, which is very painful and MS causes the nerves in the brain to also freeze, so thoughts and words get jumbled up, and are hard to come out at all or when they do their words are not fully formed and their memory gets jarred/foggy. I have seen MS patients on a low dose of Fentanyl, which comes in a patch/transdermal that is placed like a sticker on the skin and last for 72 hours, so that search on the computer would not be uncommon if, the Doctor recommended that for Sandra and was researching it. Wes had access to his Mom’s home and could have used his Moms computer to set her up on the searches on how to murder someone. Nothing was found on any of the phones that Sandra’s had and Wes had too much information, ability to set his Mother up, he had access to his Mother’s house and to her and John’s belongings, he would have knowledge that Sandra and John kept money in their house. People pretty much keep quiet that they stash money in their house, but will tell their children just in case. Wes would have known about the money and telling the Police where to find the gun. It looks like Wes set his Mother up and the Police really messed up on not bagging Sandra’s hands to test for gun residue nor properly searching Sandra’s car after the murder. Hopefully, this case is not closed.

I believe Wes did it! He 'seemed' to be almost smiling when in the interrogation room with the police. He didn't have the gall to question his mother BEFORE going to the cops; to me that's because he didn't want her to say to his face that she recognized him!

Why would she kill her husband. He’s her whole world. She needs his help not his money. Wes is definitely suspicious. So sad.

The fact that he almost instantly went to the police to pin it on his mom screams guilty for me. Legal reasons aside, even if he’s 100% convinced, i still believe that he would have trouble reporting it to the police. I mean it’s his mom, after all. They seem to having had a normal relationship, at least on the surface. She’s been struggling with illness and sucidal thoughts. So at least you have to make sure, no? May take days, or even months… but just right away?

Her son hired someone to do it. That's why she didn't recognize his eyes and voice. He went there to calm the dogs down and let the killer in.

The way she screamed when the police officer told her that her husband was dead solidified in my head that she did NOT do it. We've seen so many guilty people faking emotions and that was nowhere near fake. You can't fake an agony scream like that.
