almost every single game i have played over the past week and a half/two weeks, i have now faced cheaters in almost every single game and have gone from plat 1 to plat 5 simply due to cheaters. i hate this game

I was obsessed with Siege way back in 2018. My friends and I used to play 1v1s in old House and even in that airplane map. We quit playing around 2020 due to the game being unplayable with all the hackers

ubi was truthful this time but the problem was none of their players know how cheats work so there was confusion. In an update, the memory offsets are changed when they compile (the cheat providers need to find these offsets again). This is what they meant, not that they fixed it and saved r6.

It makes me sad to see Siege fall down to this bad of a state, especially since the game is genuinely fun and has all the tools to be an amazing game. It's just the biggest thing hilding it back rn is the amount of cheaters infesting the game.

i interpret it as it's always been, when they update the game at any point, there is at minimum an hour or two where you can play with a near-0% chance of cheaters

Ever since i got recommended that video promoting cheats for Siege and Overwatch 2 with link to their website i cannot unsee it. Watching this gameplay makes me see that cheating software as it was promoted on that video. If nothing else its interesting to see how it actually works but im still thinking i should report it somewhere but where? Would someone even be able to do anything about it? Its probably just gonna get updated for the next patch and all of them are back at it again.

They must’ve since I played with a cheater once saying they’ve been doing it for 5 seasons and has 400 games this season alone. They planted outside and used rage so it’s not like they were trying to hide it

I am in low plat, just got there for the first time this season. That Coastline game looks like my lobbies 99% percent of the time. Ranked 2.0 sucks.

I don't know why, but I been running into hackers almost ever other game, ever since the update. I'm a plat player and it's starting to impact my enjoyment of the game

yesterday ranked on console was unplayable. I got into 2 games in a row where I guess my team was ddosing or doing some sort of cheat. The entire enemy squad disconnected as soon as prep phase ended, but my team would get kicked as well. I got an abandoned penalty of only 5 mins. I took a 30 mins break then the next game the same situation. But this time I was there for the game to end, but I still got -5 rp and set back to emerald 4. I played a standard immediately after and it went smoothly so idk what was happening

I almost never use vertical grip even before the change, so I guess I'm just used to it. I mean, I use it on guns I think I need it for like the F2, Scorpion, or Zofia's primary (if I even play her)

If you had read that right, you would see that they updated THE CHEATS not the ANTI-CHEAT

they did not update the anti cheat system. Because of the game update almost all cheats will be down due offsets and sigs will break. They also added new encryption to the game that makes it harder to update the cheats but as usually they didnt add something important that could stop cheats or something else. And before anyone say battleye is the Problem its clearly not Battleye is a okay anti cheat and is camping on r6 cheat servers to "crack" the cheats or reverse them in some states thats illegal but basicly you cant do anything as cheat developer

Supposedly they were updating mousetrap but not much else. Not that it matters, console kids found a work around a long time ago. Xim users will now be banished to PC lobbies for 90 days. So on top of regular closet cheaters and rage hackers, we PC players are going to be dealing with aim assisted xim users with console recoil. Siege is kinda cooked

There are too much cheats and money spent on them for the game so cheats aren't going anywhere unless attack the the source of cheats or spent alot of money on more anti cheats, or something else which makes it easier for anti cheats maybe a new game

why dont ubi just try to find the people that are making these cheats and hire them to stop the cheats from happening?

I've been playing this game for about a half a year now and I think I'm ganna drop the r6 they say they will fix things and then they break less then a week later the cheaters are everywhere and we as the players receive little to no compassion for their lack of competence.

I swear as much as people cry about riots vanguard being invasive tbh siege needs that, ive played valorant the same time as ive played siege (i used to play on consoles too before) and while i got to emerald in siege ive seen hundreds pf cheaters while in the same 2-3 year gap i got ascendant on val and i can tell u i saw at best 4 cheaters in these years, siege rlly needs a version of vanguard

I hope varsity sees this because I want to make sure I get this cheater banned. I just played a match today and the guy in the enemy team was wall hacking all while hip fire head shotting. He most likely had a squad with him because one of his teammates was diamond but played like a copper. I really want my rp back and this guy banned because it’s so frustrating to have cheaters in my game.

Varsity you need to get better with your camera placements on clubhouse you wasted 2 cameras for 2 objective. You can use 1 camera to see both A&B bomb Logi and con. Put a hole in the corner of the soft wall connecting to A&B in the top Left corner. Do the same with logi so that it doesn’t get blown up with the hatch being broken. And put the last camera in con facing the cash door.
