I feel like some of these characters might’ve been purposefully “forgotten”. Maybe it’s because SIU wanted to get- “the tower is huge and all the people you meet, you might never seen anymore in your lifetime”- message across. Idk But yea maybe he really forgot some of them
Ngl i fully understand why SIU would 'forget' some characters. There are already a shit ton of characters and storylines spread over multiple america sized floors so he can't keep adding or keep other characters around all the time.
Some of these characters are going to appear again in the story I'm sure of it. Also I can't wait to see Yuri's reaction to Bam when she sees him again
I think SIU bringing back Chicken Love and Agusgus is him telling the fans, "I haven't forgotten these older characters. They are still in my arsenal to use in the future."
Y’all remember that princess of Jahad that Yuri met with that had a lot of lighthouses and purple hair, I’m still wondering if she might play an important role in the current story. Also Parakewl is probably preparing to reveal he’s the true king of the tower.
Repellista. As one of only 3-4 Opera owners, she's important no matter how small her role is. Garam is the same being a dual owner of the 13 month. Pretty sure the princesses will all start taking sides once Baam gets a little further in his climb.
You all have no idea how much I miss Ehwa. She is my favorite female character and I have a lot of affection for her, she represents an example of personal improvement for me. I also expect a lot from her, she still has a lot to give. I want to see her surpass herself even more, control her power more, see her become a Ranker and help correct her family's mistakes (just like she said). Maybe I'm asking a lot, but I've been thinking about these things for too long and how much my girl deserves better things. That she's not just here to be a hostage or a sacrifice (although that says a lot about her bravery). She deserves better too and I'm here for that. 🌸

Yall keep in mind bam and his main squad is climbing the tower really really fast so if we indeed see those people from early seasons again, bam will already be a ranker while all of them still on floor 50 or something
I disagree because Parakewl was the weakest member and he made it to the 30th floor. The only characters that I have not seen from the floor of the test that passed are Blarouse, Shunwoo Nare, Hong Chunwa, and Lebin. And those characters could have definitely passed the 20th floor. The thing that I could think of is that they are much much slower at climbing, which would make sense.

Also, Hong Chunwa and Sunwoo Nare definitely could have climbed higher. They had good skills. A fisherman with an ignition weapon and a scout who is also an anima. There are no mentions which are just weird.

I think SIU once stated that there will be another Workshop battle in the future, so i wouldn't be surprised if some characters show up there, like Paracule for example.
Lord Paracule is gonna make his great entry to break the balance of the tower to start the greatest war of all the towers history. But his contribution is not gonna be on fights bcz it's unfair for the mortals to go against him. ALL HAIL PARACULE!
He better show he all along comes with some powerful group to same them all somehow, th princess arc would be perfect with the regular side of the cast.
Honestly, I think that Laure is one of the most important characters forgotten by SIU, we know where he is and he still appear but...is not like before. Idk how to explain it but, I got a lot of hype cause of Laure because he is character with a lot of potential but then, he is forgotten.
I think the purpose of both Laura and Irure (pink-haired sleepy girl with Bero) is to build up the Eurasia/Phonsekal family before we get an arc about them later on.
I agree, this is definitely a mistake by SIU to me. Even if he kills him, he could have done it later, rather than this stupid way. And seriously to showcase rankers' power, that is a horrible reason.
@Faruque Khan yeah.And Bams growth is insane that gets me and bugs me. He goes from his base using moves like blackhole and sweating heavily against a low ranker who still is stated to have his attacks be more powerfull than bams blow for blow base to base.And now in the current arc literally at most a week later somehow being on a ranker level easily in base form maybe even advanced ranker to some people. Yet he undergoes no extreme training like he did before nd just boost up like that.Like you struggled agaisnt a low ranker who even then still had more power than you to somehow people saying hes gone up to high ranker level and top 500 with all his skills. Like even if hes a regular there should be no way he grows that fast without any training in a week .The gap is insane.Like according to that hes grown more in a few days maybe a week just naturally than he did going through revolution or his two years of training. And on top of that nobody else seemed to have been growing for a long time.Like how ling has hockney been on the team or Kaiser been on the team.What happened to positions and strategy, teamwork. Like let Bam grow but let others grow too
I always thought Hockney would be so much more important for the team, I guess on the floor of death before he lost his eyes he was quite useful, but I still feel like he could do so much more
Hockney might have gotten his original eyes back but he doesn't know how to remove the from Hell Joe's necklace & put them back in his head, so for now he's stil using De Jah's eyes.
Yuri meeting with jahad not her grandmother she said her family would disown her if she ran away and it would be way worst, she wants to ask her dad why he wants Bam dead and find out what happened
Out of these, the only one i really miss is yihwa, that phrase she said about baam's smile in the workshop arc really hit me in the guts, and how determined she was to climb the tower with baam in the end of namehunt station, i believe she deserves to be at his side a lot more than some of the recent characters.
Khun Hachuling would be great to see again, loved his appearance in the first season and brief appearance in the second. Hope we see more of him and the former test admins from season 1!
Idky, even tho Lero-ro and Quant made quite a number of appearances, I feel like they have been forgotten. The were supposedly infiltrating The Workshop under Mazino’s group and were never seen again. I really want to see Lero-ro’s abilities and one of my favorite early arc characters, I was very pleased when he did make a few more appearances. Since Lero-ro and Quant are working under Mazino‘a group, generally speaking that group has not shown up yet/again. Also, I would like to see the other irregulars Phantasium and Enryu to come back for some epic battle.
Do not see Phantamanium as he is a broken character. I would not be surprised if he is never seen in the Tower of God. As for Enryu, he will probably show up much later. Baam is too weak right now. I actually want to see more slayers and elders of FUG. I am especially curious about the other slayers.
Ngl I wonder what happened to Bero Bero and Irure. I know they’re w the sleepy green dude that’s from Kallavan’s squad, but like what happened to their storyline? I still remember Irure’s sworn enemy and Irure told him that she’s staying w Bam by he’s going to make her dream come true or something like that. But then again I could be forgetting something lol. I wish we could see Yuri, Ehwa, Laure (he’s been sidelined tremendously 😭), and the rest of Team Sweet and Sour soon 😢
Anaak Jahad, I know she has been with isu and the others but, I feel like she has been fading away since her battle against Ran and only shibisu, hatsu, and even Vespa are getting some airtime. She has an interesting design and background so I hope she gets more attention.
I feel like a lot of the early characters that just disappeared are just going to maybe resurface later on. It wouldn't be impossible and tog is one of those adventures were people can come and go and meet back up years and years later
The problem SIU have is that Bam is supossed to climb faster than anyone hence its only the best of the best that can kinda keep up even when he does all these side missions (khun Endossi etc.) the rest will not be able to catch up we might see them calling them etc. when Bam is at floor 100 they will be on floor 60 or 70. Like Ehwa for example.
SIU isn't following Masashi Kishimoto or Yuki Tabata or any other author like how others are following . TOWER is actually a huge place . Lot of people gonna come , they are eventually going to leave . It's more like a journey rather than being a story where people will come , they will have story , those story may or may not be related to the journey of Baam . If those story are related , even if characters may not appear , they are going to meet eventually . Like how Ja Wangnan and his team is now doing his jobs . One day he may again reunite with Baam . And there will be story like those sword guys who got their sword from that devil .
I am pretty sure that Paracule left the group and joined one of the teams that was sent for Bam when they got off the hell train he was the guy that had the walrus on his team and was about to enter the train when Karaka got up in his face.
Tower of god has so many characters and one of the biggest world building in any anime/manga series i've seen so it won't surprise me much if some of characters are only in for few chapters.
I think the characters introductions were too well setup. They were shown important & powerful. That's why we expect more. I think that's a flaw in handling characters. But lets just w8 & see
I legitimately thought Cheonhwa (Cheonwha?) died on the Floor of Test because he wasn't really mentioned or talked about immediately afterward. Like, we saw Narae (Narea?) with his sword in her arms in the anime and she was crying saying "My Knight..." then just got passed over. I was just like "Well ok then, guess Endorsi just killed those two guys. Low-key wasn't expecting that."
great video joe I don’t really think siu has forgotten characters like for example the princess like Endorsi yuri and Anaak are probably being saved for the princess war arc in the future and as far as past companions from season one I think they could be saved for the second workshop battle but those are just my thoughts can’t wait for these characters to hopefully get more development in the future

De D. Kancho Amigochaz is an odd case. It's like he fades in and out of existence. Sometimes he's with Team Shibisu, sometimes not, even after Workshop Battle. Also, the Chang situation is a total disaster unless SIU has some plan for it. Paul suddenly having a speech about how much he cares about his people against Dokoko after we just saw him: have Chang killed for no reason; not care at all as Grande, Venti, and Tall get demolished by Death Lady, Berdych, and Jordan; and allow Gado to kill R's Twin because he didn't do well enough against Baam. No one caring about Parakewl/Paracule isn't as weird as us still not seeing Baam care about Prince and Akraptor. Unless he somehow still doesn't know(???). You should go for White 2 for the nuzlocke... y'know, because White lol
There's too much characters. Some old characters need to be sidelined to make way for new characters. And TOG has been here for more than 10 years, in such a long time SIU can change his mind on where he will direct his story. Sometimes he will bring some back for nostalgia purpose, like Mule Love or LeroRo's donghae flashback. As for Paracule, he's too strong to brought to the Nest. He will just chuck his spear and one shot both Yasratcha and Lyborick. That's cheating!
Well two possibilities that i can think of. One, SIU didn't give them any relevant background or it is just not interesting. Two, SIU purposely forget about them and then suddenly made it connected to the main storyline.
Theory: Maybe Chang's power is to revive himself? Like, maybe something like Aria where he "dies" and turns into another "person"? Or maybe Chang planned out something with Paul and Quatro to help Baam?
I hate that SIU killed that Arie guy which served under Kaiser. He was enemy but he was a good guy that loved fighting I belive that our heroes could persuade him to join them. Instead Killu... I mean Ren just killed him
The thing that kinda blows my mind with characters "Catching up later" : It seems portrayed that bam and his group climb at a crazy fast rate and most of their side stops are generally quick. Like the whole Hell Train concept was supposed to be a huge shortcut up the floors, but the people who got off the train basically ended up at the last station at the same time. Maybe my perception of timeliness is just ruined by too much One-Piece though 😂
i mean personally like the Tower is supposed to be something only a few can climb to become rankers and not only that but our main group currently Bam, Khun, Rak and i supposed Hwaryun, Endorsi, Wangnan and David would ultimately climb the tower at the same speed as our main group(even if hwaryun is not a regular she is part of the main group c'mon), and showing how other characters failed in their climb in the way up or just "dissapearing" cause they are not able to keep up is a good way for SIU to shown the tower is bussiness besides those that i already mention i feel ehwa, anak, ran, shibisu and hatz would reach the top as well but several others would most likely fail or simply climb way to slow to keep up, that's one reason that a big timeskip is needed because we know Bam currently can most likely climb the tower hell he may as well be as strong as high rankers nowadays and Khun , Rak and Endorsi are monsters in their own ranks just by Rak and Khun powers ups during hidden floor and then the souls of white and the flame of yeon and the mythic spear of Rak yeah they are shitting even on B rank regulars most likely. So i feel once the main group climbs to A rank they would either take a break or become rankers and dissapear for a few decades for the other SC to catch up to them.
I'm somewhat disappointed that Paracule han't been around he was an amusing comic relief character He wasn't seen with Shibisu's team durig the Name Hunt Station so he might have stayed at the resort to help look after Horyang, probably as excuse to mooch off of Wolhaiksong's generosity. I could imagine another tournament arc would be a good oppurtunity to have Boro, Sachi, Aka & Daniel return as a team later (along with the other minor characters in their group). It would also be a good chance to set up more Regulars as antagonists like the 2 princess fractions Shibisu mentioned, maybe even introduce Kiseia. I think Cassano might try to stop Wangnan from getting revenge on Rachel, obviously not because of any loyalty to her, but out of respect for Wangnan who helped him to realize what he was doing was stupid, even Cassano didn't take it to heart the time. Wangnan could be heading down a dark path getting that Jahad Horn Sword he was teleported out of the hidden floor standing over an unconsious Bam which foreshadows that the two will come into conflict at some point. I could also see Yura's fake brother getting impaled on Jahad horns as foreshadowing of Yura being killed by Wangnan. Killing Yura right in front of Rachel would be rather poetic revenge for Akraptor's death. I definitely think that Rachel is long over for a positive character arc where she finally learns from her mistakes. She can bond with Yura who will the explain to her that being isn't as important as having people who truly care about you (Yura's character development so far was about trying to find her family on the hell train). Gustang will be the perfect mentor for Rachel, not only is he the best Shinsu teacher in the tower but his relationship with Eurasia Blossom is very similiar to that of Rachel & Bam so he probably went through something similar to her when he was young. That also makes him the perfect to call her out on her BS & dissect her messed up logic like he did to to Haoqin. I could possibly see Rachel showing up at the end of the Nest Arc to rescue Bam with reinforcements from Gustang's ranker posse. It would be a good way to show that she's trying to change for the better.
I don't think it's possible for Rachel to have a redemption arc at this point. I would say that if anything, White would be more likely to have one, at least he's shown that at the start of all his murdering and soul eating he was experiencing some guilt or uncertainty, unlike Rachel who has only ever regretted not being carried even harder by teammates that miraculously want to be around her. I just really dislike how many things are given to her without seemingly any effort on her part. She's not talented, she's not strong, she's not brave. Her only power is Emily, who is somehow receiving information magically. I get some stuff is just told to her or she could pick it up, but (I can't remember exactly when) she's given information that she would have had no way to have obtained. The only arc with her that I want to see is one where Bam realizes that he can't trust anything Rachel says or ever turn his back to her, and makes good on his promise to kill her next time she interferes with anything.
Siu has great ideas but horrible execution. His stories start out great and end terribly. The Talse Uzer universe is supposed to be unchangable once written YET as you can see there are already several changes made in the anime to effect the story.
