Thank you! I'm grateful too! And funny you mention newspaper insulation: my dad is a contractor and he renovated a house with newspaper in the walls. He also thought it'd be neat to check for a date on the paper like I did here, so I watched as he uncrumpled some to find it all chewed up and drop a bunch of mouse poop in his lap! 🤢 Probably why my hands felt so gross and I was confident the black flecks were poop. Bad flashbacks Haha

It's funny too that for all the hands it passed through on its USPS journey, not one employee thought to give it a little more tape, either. 🙈 I have another saddlebred on this mold that I'd like to try customizing.. if I can bring myself to paint over him. He really is a nice shape.

Agreed! Or at least float the other models in the bubbles, if not wrap them in it. Relieved it all worked out though! And yay! The Christmas horse is my second favorite!

Honestly, same. I could feel the weight of the clock base, but with nobody else making an appearance in ANY of that filler, I wondered if they were forgotten!

It did mine, too 😅 I love Snowflake also! And YIKES-- that's an inflated price if I've ever seen one. Please don't pay that (lol). He's actually pretty easy to find in-box for around $100, or out-of-box for $45-ish, just in case you were wondering! Hope you find yourself one soon!

Aww, sorry about the broken one! I don't know how anybody thinks it's okay to send a box through the postal system with tape just strong enough for paper. Good luck with your CM project! I'd like to try that one day!

Eew it honestly felt that way. I was surprised nothing happened to anyone, ESPECIALLY with that heavy wooden clock base just clunking around on the loose!

@@CandaceToo I was quite shocked as well. I have that clock and it's heavy or to me at least. It's very beautiful.

It's really neat. I had to hunt and hunt for the right batteries, but finally found some and got it working. It feels like such a unique collectible to have in the collection!

@@CandaceToo I just recently got a hold of the paso fino with the rider with the champagne glass in the box and that was a great addition after I recover from breyerfest maybe I will go back on the hunt for that clock. I have the old brass one and an old black plastic versions of this clock from when breyer first made them for the clock company.

Yep it all felt pretty icky.. but I agree: at least the massive amount of 'fluff' (THAT THEY COULD HAVE WRAPPED THE MODELS IN, LOL) helped keep the models at the bottom and from flying all around the inside of the box. Phew!

Oh me too! And with that HEAVY base floating around? I'm still surprised at the state of this lot on arrival. Sheesh 😰 Thanks for watching!
