I love em, they been a grail of mine for years since they dropped, same as the beluga 350 v2 they retroed. I kept the same energy...exclusivity, hype, resell price has no bearing on my personal tastes and excitement for sneakers. I'm a true sneaker head, to me they're art, expression...wear what you wear, like what you like. Glad I copped on the shock drop!
I think everyone is just broke now days we’ve been in a quiet recession for well over a year now and forget resell most people don’t have 180 to blow on shoes
I got them, not gonna lie I feel I shoulda passed since I have a pair of leather breds already. I fell into the early hype and now I can't even resell them for what I paid for.
Also jordans release so often now, ppl get to be more picky with what they want. Ppl want og leather jordan 1s, not suede reimagined or satin. In like a year watch them do another retro or og high 85. Everyone can just wait it out
I think nowadays ppl are starting to differentiate what they actually like from what is rare. Ppl dont really like the satin, it was only hype for a lot of ppl.
I got them, i was cleaning my J1 Satin Bred at the midsole, when it got wet, it became a like a mud ngl, and tried to dry them at the sun but nothing changed
@@davidblizzy9725 Yeah they are played out when everyone’s rocking the same sneakers, the same way and not dropping their own “individual style”. Being a true sneaker head was about dropping fresh styles as opposed to being a clone.
Facts, and honestly jordan brand has gotten really lazy by releasing the same but watered down version of color blockings at an increased retail price.
