انا كفلسطينية درست الحرب الاهلية ومدى تورط المنظمة فيها، كلام الضيف صحيح نعم المنظمة سرعت الاحداث لاندلاع الحرب، وعرفات له اخطاء فيها ، لكن بالنهاية هي صراع طبقي سياسي طائفي.

برنامج رائع وضيوف مميزين عندي ملاحظة يمكن يكون صعب تطبيقها وهي تتعلق باستعمال اللغة الانجليزية مع العربية بدون اي داعي فإما تتكلموا بالعربي مع ترجمة نصية بالانجليزي او العكس انا اعرف ان اللبنانيين يتكلمون دائما بهذه الطريقة ولكن ضمن برنامج كبرنامجكم يجب استخدام لغة واحدة فقط واذا كان الضيف لا يتكلم العربية عندها تكون المقابلة كاملة بالإنجليزية التي واضح انكم تتقنونها تماما شكرا لتفهمكم

Yes they did and the left capitaslized on it. The Chehabist policies of Fouad Chehab and Charles Helou, were in the process of refomring Lebanon to be more equitable and building a functional state for all Lebanese. Had the Cheabist agenda continued after Helou, under Sarkis this trend of reform and state building would have continued and the source of the Left's agitation (political in-equity) would eventually be resolved. But the sham election of Frangieh, ushered in a pause of Chehabist reforms, retrun of the Za3em ruling order and the influx of the PLO only ignited everything. By the time Chehabist Sarkis was in power (1977) it was too late. But instead, we had the Left, use the PLO as leverage, cringe Lebanese students (always cringe) wanting to be Che, mimicking other loser student mini-revolutions happening in europe and today we are all paying the consequeces of that. Slow reform vs violent revolution was the way to go, the country was only 30 years old when the War started. Had Lebanon been a properly functioning state with a united population or less democratic than it was (so that the state can take unilateral action on maters of sovreignty), the PLO issue could have been dealt with much the same way the Jordanians dealt with it and today we would all be better off.
