Thierry Henry and Ronaldinho are by far my favourite living Legends of Football, Henry should've won at least one or two ballon d'or in 2003 and 2004, he should've won the ballon d'or instead of Nedved and Shevshenko, he was so underrated back then...

Nedved literally carried juventus to ucl final after beating barcelona and real madrid before, he also won serie a (which the toughest league that time) and supercoppa. He also instrumental and perform very well that season when playing against big team. Yeah i know henry is a great player, legend i also think in the entire career henry is far better than nedved but that season nedved is phenomenal, critical and instrumental for juve. So it was a deserved Ballon d'or for Nedved, but the next year i think henry should win it over Sheva.

Ridiculous! If Messi beat Van Dijk last year, Henry should've definitely beaten Cannavaro in 2006. And he definitely should have beaten Shevchenko in 2004. He had 39 goals in all comps that season, while shev had 28. Both won the league.

Henry got robbed in 2004. 43 goals and 15 assists in that calender year. Premier league golden boot, European golden boot winner, pfa player of the year, won the league invincible, more goals and assists than any of his competitors. Shevchenko just won the league, henry was better individually and arsenal did it unbeaten with more points. Shevchenko didn't win the champions league that year either so there's 0 reason why henry didn't get it. 2003 and 2006 henry was individually the best player aswell but teams success wasn't there

henry was great. the greatest striker ever in the PL. its easy to use that and look back and go he should have won over this or that guy. nedved deserved it, he stepped up in the big games that year and was fantastic in serie a. people forget but it wasnt until around 05/06 that europe (not england) looked at henry as a big game player. up until then the opinion was he couldnt lead arsenal past the second round or quarter finals in europe. for the first time they reached the quarters in 03/04 and were dumped out by an unfashionable chelsea side. he had the aggregate stats, but there were doubts in crunch time. and by the time he started bossing around with arsenal in europe, arsenal was on the decline.....if arsenal had won that final, henry might have gotten it that year regardless of the world cup cos they had a great run. but dude missed some bloody good chances in that final

If the balon d or went to the actual best players that year. Henry would have 2 or 3. And Messi would have 8 or 9.
