Holy crap what is happening to this community? Neebs gaming is still as great as they have always been, if not greater. Why is this community not being encouraging like they use to? I loved listening to their banter during this podcast, but a large portion of them reading their fan's comments made me sad...the lack of appreciation for their hard work is quite depressing. I personally like the intro, its not too long and not too short and the music gets you hyped even more than you already are for the video. As for 7D2D I personally do not mind the graphics quality, it isn't horrible and the customization and the fact you guys are all playing it together makes it very entertaining, im excited for more. BUT, if it doesn't work out I think you guys may enjoy the game Life is Feudal: Your Own. It is a survival game that includes crafting and terraforming, you can build towns, and mine, hunt, and fight for territory. The Map is large, you can customize your characters, there are day and night cycles, seasons, and it is set in a medieval theme. If not you also may like RUST even though it will probably be in alpha forever and you start literally completely naked, your gender is decided randomly when you first start playing....permanently, and they wipe servers every now and then so its hard to progress BUT it'd be entertaining for sure lol! They've actually played rust before. Rust is really hard to get into. As for LiF, I've played both 7d2d and LiF, and they are both super fun, but LiF is EXTREMELY grindy and takes some real commitment to progress . When I played that game with 2 of my friends, I almost felt like I had a second job lol. You are right though, they are fun games

Hey guys- been watching videos for 2-3 years or so. Lately I have been watching some series with my sons My boys love hearing the original intro, I love how excited they get. They are getting to the point where they understand the nuances of an Ark video, like Simon just beginning to be useful, Thick being a wandering lone wolf and especially Neebs being OCD about the weirdest things. They love Doraleous and Appsro’s voices and we have good conversations about why bad language is funny but not to be used anywhere else. Keep up the good work. You make our “Boys’ Nights” great!

The intro is KEY. My roommate doesn't watch you guys and even when he hears it he gets interested and will stop and watch or listen. He isn't very RU-vid savy and nhe knows exactly who Neebs, Simon, Appsro, Doraleous and Thick are. I got him into D&A and got just as excited as I did when the last episode came out. I watch alot of RU-vid and you guys outrank every youtuber out there. Top notch arguments, cinematic videos, Simon adventures and comedy. Now I'm rambling, anyways you guys totally need to keep the intro. Love you guys keep it going and I can't wait till you guys have 10 million subs cause you deserve it. WORLD PEACE.

The intro is like the sound of opening a can of beer. You love it, because you know what follows. It crates an even bigger desire for the taste. And when i see the intro i can take some seconds to calm down, switch off my brain and just relax and most importantly: focus on enjoying what follows. Wouldnt be the same when the content is just thrown in my face right away. It doesent have to be the bib bub bip bub intro, credits and fade ins work just as well. I like that the GTA Cinematic Series doesn't use the typical intro, because it sets that series apart, but I really feel like the intro is a big part of your brand. Also, I really love when the Ark vids start with a bit of footage and dramatic music that fades or cuts to the into song; somehow it just works really well.

I think it would be interesting to see Simon in a short series similar to An Idiot Abroad. Simon could be Karl Pilkington of gaming. The idea is that Simon is given a new game each episode and he has to figure out how to play it. Obviously games would have to be short enough to fit the format of the series. For example, I think it would be absolutely hilarious to see Simon struggling through Cuphead.

A few answers from me for this episode - absolutely keep the intro for things like battlefield and scrap mechanic, you can do without on your more cinematographic features. I reckon you've got a good balance going on as it is. In regards to VR, I think you guys MAY (repeat, MAY) like Arma 3's Apex campaign for co-op action, I can see you guys doing a lot with that considering your battlefield background, but it can be very intense to get into. Doraleous would likely enjoy it, but something for you to check out. Love and kisses!

i do not understand the "controversies" around your last 2 Ark videos (server reset and "too much arguing"). first one, so many people claiming it "removes all tension and ruins your in-game accomplishments" to me don't get what that series is all about. it's not like it's a walkthrough, or even a traditional let's play, it's an edited cinematic series and in that respect it was great. second one, again i question how much those people watch that series. i've been catching up from the beginning and that episode was tame on the arguing (which was only in the first 5 minutes and made the rest of the episode better)

The majority of their audience has become casuals. Kids who don't even know how RU-vid works, let alone logic or reasoning as to why ARK is not a normal series, by any means. A real contagious kind of stupid in the comments sections. Sad part is, by answering the same questions multiple times in these videos, they aren't helping anything.

Personally I see the Ark videos more as highlight reels that document their lack of game knowledge and skill, in the past they have had the +3 hour sessions on twitch and use to regularly comment that the sessions they pull the footage from are from longer sessions. To me the videos aren't meant to be how to videos or about the game play itself, but how the team can use the game play to enhance their interactions with each other. If people want to cry about the reset then they should have been crying frequently in the past when they have done a lot of questionable acts. The server reset isn't even that big of a deal if you think of the other stuff they have done.

I love you all. Except Simon. I’ve been on RU-vid for 28 hours straight waiting for a video. Also, you should really clean this storage closet. It’s absurd in here guys, get it together. Ps. They actually tried it for a few episodes a while back. It was probably early days for the game and may not have had all the features but I’d imagine the experience they had with it shaped their choice on Empyrion or 7d2d
