Back in the day I was driving OTR. We started with a 2 year old truck, engine blew in a couple months. We switched to a 2001 Freightliner FLD Classic with over a million miles. LOVED that old truck, what a beast. Give me an older truck any day. No DEF and all that extra crap that keeps you in the shop more than on the road.

I created a formula 100% Business - 30% Taxes - 30% Breakdowns - 20% Insurance - 20% That’s on a weekly average no matter what I make that week. Whatever is left goes in my pocket.

1 Question: How many miles did you have on your box truck when you bought it back in early 2021? I hear how happy you are that it has not had any issues. I am considering purchasing and I am wondering how high of milage box truck I can buy without major concern. Thanks again!

Amazon pays better then anybody, I have two trucks. I make between 500 1000 a truck a day.People don’t know how to use Amazon. Mind you I only travel 120 miles and work no more then 5hrs a day per truck 🤷🏾♂️ but I hope people continue to think Amazon ain’t worth it… I made 270,000 my first year. It’s April 2022 and I’m already at 65,000 for the year.
Not sure where you live but here in the Atlanta area, its not been like that. Right now the loads are ok and getting better, but the last 3 months were terrible.OTR pays way better than Amazon. Again its the area you live in.
