Hi Ishara, thank you for talking the truth.Yes, the career break is a big miss for me too and I know how it feels. And yes there is no sunshine or butterflies soon as you step into another country. And thank you for sharing the real situation while some other YT channels, FB groups trying to exaggerate only the good side which will mislead new comers. (I feel that this vlog is compete if would be able to discuss about the inflation and price increases also,😊 Lets talk about it on a new vlog) Keep up the good work both of you and best of luck with your job search ❤
Hi shanki, thank you so much for your kind words. It means alot when someone who knows the situation can acknowledge our feelings. Will cover that in a future video for sure, right now my burning issue is this crazy job hunt
I have watched many people sharing their experiences and providing advice but you two are probably the best. Very professional and provides full disclosure. In regards to your future plans, have you researched the possibilities of moving to a different province? I have been living in Calgary for over 13 years and it is a good place to live subject to proper employment opportunities.
Ane!! Thank you so much for watching and commenting ishara🩷 it means a lot. I hope you guys settle and achieve your Japan dreams soon 🩷🩷 Don’t forget to let me know how much you enjoy your journey too 🩷🩷🩷
Exactly!! But this is what I always wanted to do and I was emotionally so invested in this so I’m really excited and disappointed at the same time. ❤️ thank you for your kind words, hoping for the best!!
Thanks for the video. Regarding McDonald's, I am also working there in Toronto. I am on an 2 year open work permit. I gave full time availability to them from morning to night. Still I get 20hr/week worth of shifts. In winter, it's even less. Many experienced people who work there are also getting similar kind of hours most of the time. It's the nature of McDonald's. So, if anyone is willing to do a full time job, it's better to look for another job while you are working in McDonald's since McDonald's job is not going to cover all your expenses if you are here in Canada with your spouse or family.
Akki I’m coming Canada for two year diploma in Accounting & business.I don’t hv any work experience. I’m just 20 and completed A/Ls in 2023. Will I be able to find a job after completing studies 😢
We can just hope for the best, keep on applying for jobs and try to work on projects or volunteer in your domain. I will share my experience in the next video, maybe you 2 can get some more tips sew and sandani ❤️❤️

Hii akke,I’m living in Maple Ridge in BC. I watch each and every video of yours as it’s so useful. And here I have a question for you that I need to be clarified… akke I need to go back to SL in December as I’m planning to get married but that’s my last semester I mean the end of my program so I need to know will it be a problem for me when I return… please give me an idea about this
Hi melani, if you plan to leave Canada after completing your studies without your pgwp in hand, do not do that. You may not be able to re-enter. Try to get your PGWP approved and travel after that with no risk. If not travel before you complete your last semester (so you have a solid reason to enter the country again). Congratulations on your wedding but plan your travel dates carefully 🩷🩷
@@goodvibesonlyxo what if I travel in my last semester I mean to do after returning?? Thank you so much akke for replying and I really appreciate your advice♥️
I was in the same situation as you but I went back to SL without my PGWP. Before leaving I applied for my PGWP and I received a confirmation letter from the IRCC which clearly stated that I could work full time until they make a decision. I was able to enter Canada after 3 months without any problem. Make sure your study visa(TRV) will not get expired before you come back. The end date on my study permit was not expired when I came back to CA. What I did was risky. Worst case scenario, you will have to apply for PGWP and TRV from SL and you will miss your flight 😔. I have to say I was so stressed about this at the time. I hope this helps.
Missisuaga is just next to Toronto. Almost Toronto. As it’s in the GTA, the living cost is a bit high but hopefully there will be job opportunities as it’s a big city
