The section of the video of them trying to get up the hill is a perfect example of why you do lockers before lift and tires, a stock and locked rig would have had very little trouble on that hill with smart line choice it looks like
The ZJ had a front locker but kept blowing axles so we are waiting to build it better just wanted to get threw a trip with no problems. The WJ has a Dana 44 waiting for the front with a locker just piecing everything together.
Sorry no the ZJ did but we took it out because we kept blowing axles. My WJ had the varilock but I blew the rear diff awhile ago and could only find an open diff for sale but I plan on a locker in the rear soon anyways. The front diff was bent so I had a parts jeep with a open diff as well so just put it in for now to keep rolling. The WJ is the overland even tho I don't have the sliders on right now. I hit a tree awhile ago and changed the doors that's why it says limited lol
I just found your channel and I like it. Your slice of heaven looks a lot like mine I live in northern Idaho. I am just starting the build on my 98 zj I saw yours and it inspired me.
Nice two-part and a great day of wheeling. Y'all both pulled rope at just the right time, right before you tore something up. BC is great wheeling country and you have some nice rigs. New sub and fellow WJ owner.
That was hard to watch. Trying to throttle through when it's obvious that it's not going anywhere. Good way to break parts and tear everything up. Air those tires down, get lockers, and go easy on the loud pedal.
Alright this WJ sounds badass lol what exhaust system is on it ? ZJ sounds awesome too, pointing out the wj cuz I have one 🤙🏽😎 Loving the videos bro 😎😎
Neither jeep has a rear sway bar. The rough country long arm kit doesn't use them. The WJ runs good with out it the ZJ sways a little more then I like but not to bad.
Some older Forest service roads in the west Kootenays are being decommisioned based on the opinion of a single regional director with no public notice, review, oversight or recourse. Shits gonna get real, sooner than later...
Hello! Enjoyed this video quite a bit! I'm building a 93 ZJ right now. Im also new to the off road scene! I would very much like to know what front bumper winch you have and where I can find one myself. Hoping I can make a awesome adventure rig and hit some trails myself because this looked very fun.
Its a 6.5in lift on long arms. I'm running 35in tires. I didn't trim the bumper to much probably less then an inch. When I built it I was trying to not trim at all I like to keep it as stock looking as I can well besides the lift lol
@@flex102599 it was a rough country but I have swapped out every part now besides the actual arms. It has iron rock spring's, Currie joints and BDS shocks also JKS sway bar disconnects.
