Please let her be a one and done, we haven't seen anyone this terrible make a debut on Housewives since Diana on RHoBH.

Ashley you cannot be serious, you started this. Nkeka sorry take your fake storyline somewhere else, so distasteful. Rather presenting the beauty of Nigeria, and many great things it has to offer, but you start with this rubbish.

I feel like Nneka is covering all of her bases so that she doesn't get sued in court for slander. I believe that in the land of slander cases, in court, you have to legitimately _prove_ that you had reason to lead you to believe a piece of gossip and therefore spoke on it. And this is where I think all of these circumstantial "receipts" are coming from. Nneka is taking the audience down a path with these correlational receipts to lead us into thinking that it is possible that she would believe her accusations. One of the lawyers on RU-vid should really try to cover this. Do I believe that Eddy and Nneka's husband know each other? Actually no. If they were a part of the same African association at the same time, Nneka would have produced receipts showing pictures of them together or something less circumstantial. However the season is still young so we'll just have to wait and see. What I really believe in all of this is that Wendy and Nneka are working together behind the scenes. In my head, it would make sense for Wendy to get Nneka to bring this storyline about her being Osu, and her family practicising Voodoo witchcraft to camera because those stories have been in the blogs since Wendy stepped on the scene. This storyline would be very convenient for Wendy as she could use Nneka to help her dispel these rumors once and for all by bringing it up to the group to a bunch of women that don't care for Wendy; thereby making it a focus of a season and getting it on camera. It also benefits both ladies further by giving them a storyline to work with throughout the whole season. What Nneka gets out of the deal is that she becomes a housewife, she just has to fight with Wendy on camera for her 1st season. I bet that after the reunion, Nneka and Wendy are going to be the best of friends and make that Ibo duo thing happen because the viewers want it and it's really their truth. Nneka also displays the hallmark of a classic storyline that viewers love as well for a housewife: being the storyline of a successful woman building her own family while also being a career woman as well - a classic storyline we have seen time-and-time again and viewers love. So she displays a lot of potential to deliver on storytelling for a couple of seasons. That's just my take on it though.

People followed people on FB back in the day to populate their numbers, doesn't mean they know you! Nigerians especially do that. So that's nothing! Eddie might have unfollowed him when they came on the show and started being messy, but that means zero. Nneka is just being messy because she knows good and well that there is no shrine and furthermore in the Igbo language you can curse someone out in so many ways that it really can't and shouldn't be translated to English because there is not direct correlation in the English language. Nneka most probably told Ashley about the 'Osu' thing but that's as basic as you get - there are thousands of Igbo surnames and first with 'Osu' in them - these are names that date back hundreds if not thousands of years - having the name does not mean that the individual worships a deity other than God. Furthermore 'Osu' can have different meanings depending on the person who gave the name originally - it could have been to acknowledge a deity, but it could also relate to the ancient Igbo and Jewish ways of making a person an outcast if for instant they got leprosy or were caught stealing. There are many cultures with the Igbo tribe and I wouldn't even try to claim that I know all the background surrounding the 'Osu' name, so go figure!! And yes, I'm Igbo.
