This is an interesting one. Some businesses go for "contractor" for even most of their workers.

You will need to set the individual up as an employee (payroll taxes, register with texasAttorneyGeneral.gov, etc.) Thank you for watching and leaving a comment.

Thanks a lot! I have a contract as an independent contractor, but I do not control my workplace and time, etc. How can I prove that I am eligible? or where to complain that I am forced to work as a contractor, but in fact I am an employee?

This will give you information re: what the State says is an Independent Contractor and what is not. There is also a phone number you can call if you are an employee when you are being treated as an independent contractor.
