It’s funny, having gone to quite a few McCartney shows over the past 20 years, I have noticed the desire to relive the Beatles experience in most people attending. The Beatles and Wings were both before my time, so I think I experienced the shows differently than the fans who were there in the 60’s and 70’s.

While I agree with George for most fans: I personally loved a lot of each of their solo music! I’ve seen Paul 3 times and I wish he’d play more of his early solo and mid to later Wings stuff. Don’t get me wrong, he could’ve just played Beatles songs and I’d have been thrilled too. I’d had felt the same way if I could’ve ever seen John or George, or if I ever get to see Ringo. It Don’t Come Easy (George written) is my favorite Ringo song. What other group had enough known solo material from each member to justify a full set on a tour?

How many have watched the scene in John Belushi's movie, "Blues Brothers" when they play at a honky tonk and the stage is covered with a screen to protect the acts? For those who wish to criticize George, he stated what he experienced. It’s easy to judge using today’s perspective, without realizing how different things were before September 11, 2001. Back then, there was no need for Crowd Security anywhere and people acted as they wished with little filtering. After 9/11, The Patriot Act took away lots of our Privacy in the name of Public Safety. Has it helped? How many Mass Shootings, blasts, etc., since Waco?

I WOULD HAVE REALLY LIKED TO HAVE SEEN GEORGE HARRISON WITH THE TRAVELING WILBURYS, EVEN THOUGH TOM PETTY WAS IN IT, BUT ON THE PLUS SIDE ROY ORBISON AND BOB DYLAN WERE IN IT

They were Beatle Drunk George, I don't think they were alcoholic drunk.........they were effected by Beatlemania! the hype was to much for young people but what a thrill. Now later on his last tour, was probaly a bunch of potheads/drunks thats what I thinking George was talking about. He right you know..............miss George!

I agree with George! I don’t do stadium concerts anymore, oddly enough the last one I went to was Paul @ Yankee Stadium! But, I like smaller theaters such as the Paramount in Huntington Long Island (you could say the Fillmore’s were that kind of place). I’ve always thought of the Beatles as a club band! That was their magic. I think Shea Stadium would’ve been amazing from a historical POV but as a life long Mets and Hets fan (shut up no comments, I’m already miserable) I can tell you the sound must’ve sucked!

I’ve seen Pau McCartney a few times. Only X Beatle I would go see don’t care about seeing the rest live.
