Hi, for me, when I was luving abroad, it was a shock to find out that a funeral could take as many as 5 days. After inquiring about the procedure, ceremonies, and being told that family members were scattered in different parts of the country, it all made sense. I think I would need at least one day right after the death of a close relative or friend. But yeah, funerals are quite quick here. As for weddings, I have never paid to attend a wedding ceremony/reception. I assume that may be due to the economic situation. What I did notice is that instead of receiving gifts, and also because the couple may have been living together before marriage, they may ask for money (not a specific amount), because either they don't really need anything else for the house or they may want that money for the honeymoon. I guess the decoration thing is definitely to save $$. Interesting video to learn about both countries! One comment regarding texts in your videos, try to make the transitions a little longer, I always have to pause the video to read the whole text. I never heard of someone paying to go to a wedding, maybe it's new thing, I'm a grown man now. Wich is associated with weddings is an almost mandatory gift. Sometimes couples made a list and you choose from that list another times they prefer money to afford honeymoon or something like that.

In kenya its also usually cold in July.

thats true about older people being everywhere and more free, i'm from a place in argentina that has more young people than eldery generation, but i always doubt that because it's insane the amount of old people i see

YES. I lived in Buenos Aires Argentina for 10 years. But in Buenos Aires Argentina you don't get snow or ice and being from Chicago it doesn't seem like a real winter. I was in Buenos Aires Argentina for the 2014 world cup. I didn't know anything about soccer remember they hate the word soccer the say football. I became a Boca Juniors fan.
