So, I’m curious……🤔💭 In the video even though you said to flash cure with the nail tree (it’s what I call the piece of plastic with the nails attached to it) still attached, the video shows you flash curing without that piece attached. So, how did you get not only the finger and nail you’re trying to cure in the small flash cure lamp, which is something everyone seems to struggle with already, but then do it with the additional nail tree still attached? Mind 🤯 blown! Granted, I think the part where you keep the nail tree attached while applying the 6 in 1 glue gel is perfect! However, when you transition to curing the nail, which is the issue we are trying to make easier, it becomes a problem. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 All that being said, I don’t use one of those little curing lamps because of these issues. I use one of the Gooseneck flash curing lamps and then put my hand in my regular large lamp. So, if you were to use this technique using a Gooseneck flash curing lamp and then cure in your regular large lamp for the full amount of time, then I think this idea is amazing!! It’s just a problem when using those small flash curing lamps these kits seem to come with. Which is why most of us use the Gooseneck flash curing lamps now anyway, but this idea does make it even easier, IF you’re using the gooseneck flash curing lamp. Thanks for the video! 😉
Thank you ! 😘 I use small lamp for flash curing . You can take it off afterwards or cure it like this in full size lamp, mine is quite big and it fits inside 😄
@@Nailcou I was curious about this as well because in the video even though you said to flash cure with the nail tree (it’s what I call the piece of plastic with the nails attached to it) still attached, the video shows you flash curing without that piece attached. So, I’m sure that’s what prompted the original question. Hi, Great tutorial as a person who has wide nails I’ve been using this technique for ever! Also, may you Please provide nail drill bit link and or description you used in tutorial. Thank you!
I sometimes use rubber base gel instead of glue and lately started using the non-stick extension nail gel the clear one and my nails don’t move. I find it easier to put a blob on the nail tip , flatten it down a bit put it on the nail, easier to make sure your straight, clean up any excess then cure and your good to go 😊
What a coincidence. Just yesterday I used gelike soft gel tips for nail extention. But mine are long, so I didn't have the problem of blocking the view when putting them on. But I will have this hack in mind. Especially as I plan to buy more gelike soft gel tips in different lengths and shapes. I really liked gelike as a brand. Nice to know that professionals use them too.
What I find works for me is tilting the little lamp on an angle , as the light will spread a little so flash curing this way works, once you’ve flashed cured for 10 or so seconds, you can snip it off the tree and fully cure it
This is an underrated channel, first of all. ❤second, I love these hacks, gonna try these with my next short set. Third, can I just say I love that you are using/promoting AFFORDABLE products?!? There are so many other channels that seem like ALL they promote are these higher end brand and product and that's all great but I cannot afford $200 nail drills or $100 sets of tips. I'm sure the quality is there just as sure as I am that said channels get the kickback from ppl buying those products. But I do not have the $ for that shit. U can make out just fine using product such as what is used here. The Kiara Sky, the Apres System...I'm not knocking it...if u can afford it great. But as a person who only does my own nails and a couple other ppl...just, no. Sorry for long comment but keep doing what u do🎉❤
i used to hate buffing my nails and doing cuticle prep. this year i decided to get better about it and it has made a huge difference in longevity and filling my nails.
This is so helpful because a crooked tip, especially on self application, is almost always inevitable. It might just be me, I'm super sensitive to things, but has anyone else noticed that some of these soft gel tip brands off-gas a horrible odor? I smell it for the duration of wear since they're not completely enclosed in product. Also, the ones that smell chemical/plastic-y tend to be so soft that after a couple days of wear I notice defect when the edges start to get damaged. It's like they're too soft, even with product overlaid. I would love to see a video talking about why that is and whether or not it's something we should be cautious of. I quit using the dupe brands and have gone back to Aprés official tips. They never have these issues. What are these manufacturers making this out of? Smells like nasty plastic and kinda wears like soft plastic - think milk jug (vs plexiglass).
Well I think you’re wasting time filling the nails on the cuticle if those tips are made to stick from it to the entire nail then need to put something on top again instead of just put the tip from the cuticle right away and just paint over.
Also, I use Gelike full coverage nails and absolutely love them! I only like to use the shorter full coverage gel tips and these are ideal length wise and the strength is great as well. Although, I usually have either a gel product over them, or I have dip powder over them.
Thanks for the tip Anastasia. Very helpful especially for the short Gelly Tips. I wonder when you glue them on the nail bed was it visible the gel you used , if it was spread nicely without air bubbles.? When tip is transparent we can see the gel , what about those are nude ?
I have been getting my tips Way too close to my cuticle. Im afraid of developing a gel allergy. This seems like a great idea 🤞. Is the dip near the cuticle too noticable?
They were the first brand of diy multi purpose glue gel that I used. Seriously it's so strong!! And clear. I'm so happy they finally have other colors ! Such a useful tip for getting short nails on straight. I had the same problem you did so I just bought longer tips I could see but I prefer this method much more!
Option 1: cut half of the rack off , so it will be smaller - that way it can fit in most lamps Option 2 (I use this): use it only for flash curing. Then take it off and cure in regular lamp 😉
And yes, WHAT IS CONCLUSION? Who will make more money? Can you make from SHORT GEL TIPS MEDIUM OR LONG? NO! Can you make from LONG GEL TIPS, QUICKLY SHORT? YES! Without Extra money for buying SHORT SIZES and also NOT NECESSARILY FOR "ANY HACKS"
Well, first about SHORT GEL TIPS. Totally understandable , just wasting A LOT OF EXTRA MONEY money. Of course that many of you will think "Yes but it's"Time Saver" It is "Time Saver" And and you need HAKS. AND you are unnecessary giving EXTRA MONEY. For short gel tips. By the way i have SHORT ALMOND AND OVAL. I am Using LONG OR MEDIUM SIZE. I will explain... What is real TIME SAVER AND OF COURSE NO NEED NOTHING OF EXTRA MONEY. I feel comfortable to work with M, L Sizes. I Finish application much faster, and just with e file and file make them short. NO NEED ANY Hacks. So, DEFINITELY NOT WORTH TO BUY ALL SIZES, IN 10 Minutes i Make them SHORT like you on video
I Love you really ❤ I am expecting a long time from videos, like Edge Nails, Russian Almond, Gothic Almond and many many more. Like your Russian, Spanish, Americans showing on Instagram. When i am watching this and what i saw on Instagram, from you my dear i am expecting much more to show. Especially what you are. This is not nothing New. Everyone who work with Gel tips i bet that think the same. Of course that many of them wi not tell you that.
As i SAD BEFORE I RESPECT YOU. But you must try to keep your followers. Honestly never mind because i love you the most, I CAN'T STOP WATCHING VIDEOS ON INSTAGRAM. AND I Can not wait to put new videos, because every new videos is BLOW MINDING. Like when you started your videos for me were blow my mind. And now, i am watching sometimes your videos. AND THAT IS SAD FOR ME😢, BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT GIVING YOUR BEST, YOU STARTED TO BE PAYED TO PROMOTE BRANDS AND OTHER THINGS. From JUDGE i am again very sad😢 Beacause this what you are Showing on RU-vid is NOTHING FROM WHAT I SAW ON INSTAGRAM AND FROM THEM I CAN'T STOP WATCHING. Think ABOUT THIS, PLEASE ❤ Now situation is, videos are very simple, Nothing new, Nothing interesting. AND THAT STARTED WHEN YOU STARTED WITH PAYED PROMOTION VIDEOS AS I SAY.
Why are you making assumptions as to why there are less videos or if she is getting paid (absolutely nothing wrong with either by the way). If you want to see acrylic, there are plenty in her channel, same with gel, all sorts of nail art, basic tutorials, etc. what I noticed about her building the content in her channel, is that she is constantly asking us (her viewers) what we want to see, so if anything is changing it is because of what we are asking for, viewing, liking or commenting on more. If anything, I can also assume you are making tons of comments in a viral channel to gain attention to yours.
