I did this with very long hair and I did the two strand twist with it and I locked it up with the crochet and let it combine for a while and it was locked easy

Me too I have did twist and rip on my bangs in the past and people said they really liked them but the back of my hair is shorter. I had a disconnected under cut so my bangs are down to my chin and the hair underneath is about 3-4 inches. Im excited to see what my hair will look like in the next few months. I’ll probably have to get a haircut as well to compliment the plaits/locks.

I need this. I just got my hair braided today and wasn’t too sure if I should do that or get locks instead. But based on my hair length and my preference, I had to go with braids for now.

I'm not sure but you should check out some other videos about. On RU-vid, I saw this one woman with braided locs and she showed that the braided pattern was still visible. Her hair had grown much longer from the initial braids.

True but my roots was thin after they locked , so I won’t try that method again, I cut em off and did comb coils instead and 1year later they turned into beautiful locs
