Thanks W S. We had a great time running the Oxfordshire Narrow Gauge modules. There will be about 15 at the Oxford Show in Kidlington on Sun 8th September...
Please except our apologies from Highfield road .. as chandler has already mentioned sadly one signal we new about but the other failed as as soon as we went to change it for some unknown reason.. and as for the spads .. well signalman was asleep ..! 😂 More seriously tho .. thank you for your kind words and the great looking Video.. it is a work in progress.. Chandler @track3drailwayparts is in charge of all the locos and signals and three d printing and the layout is his I’m his dad and also in charge of scenics .. which for a branch line enthusiast I’ve struggled with the modern image but we are getting their slowly.
Wonderful video Steve, I did not release my likeness to be portrayed on a layout. Nor did I argue about the correct colour for Network Rail....im just Wright!
I couldn’t say if you look through the comments on this video I believe the owner of the layout has written something down below you should be able to ask them.
Owner of highfield road here and yes the signaling system was having issues as should with two signals not lit up and other not working as intended but really loved this video and appreciate the kind comments, hopefully the next time you see it it will be fully functional and more complete
No worries, I’m sure most people won’t notice but signalling errors are always something I spot on layouts (as I’ve been trained to see these things) but I never let it detract from a wonderful piece of modelling. Would love to see your layout again as I say it’s one of my favourites there is something really charming about it.
No we missed them, the way the entrance was set up felt like we just went into the main room and that was it, wasn’t until I looked at the show guide that I noticed there was another room but by then we where home.
