I wish I heard Gene admit his own character flaws and missteps by giving himself plausible deniability even though he knew exactly what was going on. Because let’s be for real what’s the difference between being in the room and seeing it vs standing outside the door and hearing it- then seeing the aftermath of Kim’s bruises?
