You had to be around Puff in his prime! He was a menace. Arrogant and very reckless with his excesses. Very reminiscent of a spoiled child. A whole man-baby! Very hard to respect much about him besides his incessant grind! Character and integrity matter. Gene is the type of brother everyone needs in their life. I could feel how much love he has for his day 1 crew and his friends like Wolf. It sounds like all he wanted was Puff to respect his day 1s similar to the way he does.

Big could of still been alive today. I did see Big perform in Chicago in '96. It was SWV, Men of Vision, 112, even Bernie Mac, Larenz Tate and his brother, and Shaq came on stage hopping around crazy while Big was performing. Soooo many fine ass women had that place packed. Damn! Damn! Damn! Lord have mercy. Best night of my life even to this very day. Rest in Heaven Christopher Wallace! Even our bday is on the same day. Well always love Big Papa!!!! Puff did a ton of dumb moves when he was younger, and thought he was invincible. Gene was the wise counsel he ignored because he felt he knew better. These young boys these days move the same way, and so many of them end up where they are now because of it. We need more Gene’s, and we need Puff to reconcile his bad decisions, speak on them, and allow these younger guys to learn from the trauma and his mistakes.
It's crazy... back in 1998, I was hired on a video shoot as a camera assistant to cover a day with Usher in Chicago as he opened up for Janet Jackson. It was an extremely small crew of about three, including myself in the production team and Usher and his team. Later in the day, we took a break for lunch and ate at Michael Jordan's restaurant. Usher sat next to me and across the table sat his bodyguard named Wolf. I actually talked with him more than anyone at the table. It was only recently that I found this is the same guy. R.I.P. Wolf

And Wolf got thrown out the club by the security guards of the club and he was leaning on Meech's car waiting for him. and Meech left the club with his security guard and saw Wolf leaning on his car and Wolf pulled out his gun and started shooting 1st and he died.. Police found no gun smoke on Meech hands so he was cleared
