All the accusations are false, or just those who sued him recently. Cassie received settlements in two states. Puff did not want a jury with the evidence she had against him. You right they really don't have to testify in a civil trail. Diddy going cut all of them a check. Because it's not against the law to not help someone get money in a civil trail they could pled the 5th because they not obligated to expose something that could have or not have been traumatizing to them for someone else's monetary gain.
If you sign a witness agreement, get on the stand, and lie your ass off, they can and will rip up your agreement and charge you with perjury. It largely depends on the value of that witness and how badly they want to get someone convicted along with the egregiousness of their perjury possibly ruining a case.
