I doubt Diddy would of got to that level if Big was still around, he made his career riding off the coat-tails of biggie and his catalogue long after he was gone and learning the trade of tactics from his mentor Clive Davis.
You can google biggie and puffy interview were they both said that puffy was biggie artists puff was rapping before big died and biggie even wrote some of puff lyrics on supercat and puff album no way out
@@justinarzola4584 If Pac and Biggie would've lived Jay-Z or The Diddler wouldn't have came up like they did. Pac would've roasted that No Way Out album especially if he had lived. The guest artists and producers saved that album. Looking back Jay and Diddler benefitted the most from their deaths.
You would’ve been a slow child because Puff began working on his album with the help of BIG who actually ghostwrote the songs and encouraged him but he had done several features on R&B tracks
Rolling Stone magazine waited until Pac and BIG passed before they would even put them(Pac) on a cover. They waited until the year 2000, almost 3 years after DMX damn there took over the whole rap game, before they would put him on a cover. Yet, they put Eminem on the cover ONE MONTH after his FIRST album was released and he only had one single out.
So nothing Too do with A rock band sold ajd dose shows for 400k Too A million people A show year around selling 40 million so put someone only sold 5 million and never did A 100k people shows not any over seas this biz not race !
Losing Pac and Big six months a part was insane to me at the time. And it still is. I feel our hip hop rap community robbed us at hands of blood and greed tragic😢
I believe everything Gene has been saying about Diddy in all his interviews, notice Diddy never called Gene out for being a liar. It’s over for Pee diddler ‼️💯
Why would he call him out. Nothing gene says is effecting Diddy lifestyle and what he got going on. Gene been talking bout Diddy for years. Telling the same stories. Grown man making a living by gossiping bout another grown man..why would Diddy respond to any of it. That's gone clout gene up. Diddy ain't sitting back watching his interviews and even if he was. Why respond to bs negativity. Rather it's true or not. Diddy n gene mind rent free. It's not the other way around. Y'all just be wanting ppl to respond to give y'all some to talk about 😂
these stories need to be told for future generations to learn from that is why it is so important for black people to have our own media platforms to talk about things going on in our culture good or bad
Damn biggie in my opinion took that beef personally when he didn’t make an official diss record of course there are songs where you know he was dissing pac but big in my opinion wanted pac dead
@@cdubyoungcableBIG tried to act like he didnt take it personal. He just didnt show it like he once said to himself (BIG i mean).."Dont feed into BIG, by feeding into it youre only gonna be making it worse.." and thats why he didnt make a FULL fledged name dropping diss.. he was smart to just drop a couple subliminals here and there JUSSSSSSST enough to let the other camp know... "oh i see you, i got heat too.."
He talked about that in his show before I believe. It was a while ago, but if I recall correctly, he said something along the lines of “cmon, you think there’s only one of those jewelries in the world?”
Diddy's response to Biggie's Rolling Stone cover indicates the type of person he is. And the relationship he had with Big. It's kind of a selfish response from someone that was supposed to be his friend.
You really believe a Black Man can force Rolling Stones to Change its Cover ? Puff wasn’t even worth 10% of what he is now when that cover dropped so at the time Master P was worth way more
I feel like this scumbag just used the ish out of biggie to put himself in the spotlight i mean i can't remember a biggie video that didn't have that glory hog in it i can only imagine if biggie had a chance to go to another label and just focus on him and his friends getting shine and not have diddy in the background on everything how much that would have popped off.
@@queenofnyc5584 😂😂 if you haven’t figured out that Yt people dominate the Entertainment Industry then I’m so sorry for you. Puffy wasn’t as Rich as Master P when that cover came out so anyone who believes that nonsense is just slow AF ..
@@ShepherdNdhlovu1puff was up at least 30/40 m’s in 97/98 I don’t think yall realize how much money bad boy was making before he started to fall off musically
Y’all think that Art of Dialogue is ever gonna ask Gene Deal why did Kenny Story, drive past the Hospital (LA Downtown Medical Center) that was literally 3 blocks up the street from the Peterson Museum even tho’ he was an off duty Los Angeles Police Officer? Because in reality, Biggie literally didn’t have to lose his life.
Without being questioned , Gene already mentioned the reason why they drove past the LA hospital . He spoke about it back in 2018. Clearly they weren’t too familiar with LA to know the distance between hospitals. They drove to the only location they knew of
Definitely not because it would have been bad for bad boy all around. Suge and Pac had a van full of people following them too, so it would’ve been a shootout for sure
He’s talking about Details magazine….lol…I had the issue It’s titled “The notorious vip”, Details magazine July 1996 and the article states that the bodyguard, (Gene), was the one that handed Riz the 40 cal that he mentions…The article also mentions that Puff Daddy also confronted the writer when they returned to the rented home about not mentioning the incident, which obviously he did not abide by…Crazy time in rap music!
All these years I never thought to myself, "The very person who is on camera saying that he begged 2Pac to come Vegas (Mike Tyson), is also jointed at the hip with the guy that may have supplied the heat". Damn. 🤔
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, TWO OF OUR FAVORITE GUYS, TAOD AND GENE DEAL, KEEPING IT REAL, TELLING IT LIKE IT IS!! May GOD continue to bless, protect, and guide them, as well as all of us, IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
Yeah let’s believe Puffy stole the Cover but forget Puffys No Way Out outsold Life After Death , Mase , Mariah Carey , Usher , Mary J Blige , Michael Jackson .. in terms of people of colour he was only outsold by Will Smith and Janet Jackson.. but the lies get more clicks so it’s okay 👍
At least he is consistent with his story. He has not changed it since day one. He just adds different details each time. Now that bumass reggie said that never happened.
The way the video is titled, I thought he meant he stole the actual design of the cover photo. I was like "Ehh, didn't really want see Big with his stomach out like that anyways".
When pac made the diss song and said fuck diddy fuck bad boy and anyone who wanna be down fuck you too. Finally making more sense to me finally. Back then I was younger didn’t follow as much but damn betrayal was on some cartel shit. Sad. Diddy will get exposed for so much more I have a gut feeling. He wanted the limelight w no competition at all. RIP to the best!!
Woow ‼️Everyone Pac mentioned in the vibe interview and in “Against All Odds” were actually in cahoots with each other against him just as he mentioned‼️I don’t know how he got his accurate intel but from the Quad Studio incident to Las Vegas it’s all the same players and gangsters interconnected‼️Zip was the boss of bosses and protected Puffy as his underling‼️This was Deeper than Rap and Pac was out numbered which is why he bombed first on Orlando that night‼️Foxy conveniently in the car with Zip that night, her association with Haitian Jack, Kurrupt and Jay-Z taking Biggie’s place after forming the commission‼️
Gene going in again i don’t know if that rolling stone cover was for biggie but i know that same issue Gene be talking about Rolling Stones is very racist to Black music Gene is speaking the truth rip riz I wished that sit down happen with biggie puff pac and suge Chaz Eric b and preme was gonna make it happen then powers that be did what they did too biggie and pac puff not behind pac death and suge not behind biggie death
After Biggie got killed, Diddy wanted to make sure everyone knew he was the new top dog going forward. Biggie's legacy didn't matter to him anymore. All Puff cared about was making a few extra bucks of Biggie with those last few posthumous releases. He know people would buy those relases no matter how poorly they were promoted.
Well we all knew Puffy was never a Rapper by heart or Biggie. Also Biggie said in his last interview that Puffy was his artist "No One can teach me how the world best rapper expect the World's Best Rapper" and shortly Puffy BLOWS Up All in the Videos & #1 Rap Charts through Biggies Legacy and Memory with Mase & Lil' Kim along side 🏆🏆🏆
This guy’s whole existence is based on bashing Diddy. It’s really pathetic. And everyone tryna make Diddy out to be some kind of monster is just hilarious too
I’m glad to hear what he has to say. I’m sure that he’s wanted to let it all out, for years, and can only now talk about it without fear of retaliation.
@@EYE_GOTCHAso you’re saying he’s been scared like a little bitch all these years lol. A man like that I wouldn’t believe a single word out of his mouth
