Background of song: Madhuri's elder sister is married to Salman's elder brother. This function is her sister's baby-shower; ladies only function. Salman and his friends are watching a ladies only function. Basically girls are celebrating, having fun and making fun of Salman's character. The girl in boy's clothes with Madhuri is wearing similar clothes as Salman. Means in the song Madhuri is pretending that Salman and she are married and she is pregnant with his child.

The lady who is sitting with red veil on her head is Madhuri's sister in the film and her Baby shower program is going on. In India, during baby shower program 'only women program' are organised. In these family fuctions, women of the family participates and celebrates. No men are allowed to participate in this! Salman wants to see Madhuri dancing in this film. Therefore He sits in the kitchen and watches her from the window. While in the program, these girls are making fun of him by impersonating him. This film was the highest grosser in 1994. And it is our classic Family Drama Film. One of Madhuri's finest performances. This film ran for more than 3 years in many theatres in India. People, at that time watched it for more than ecen 50 tines in theatres. It's a musical. Story progresses with songs n dance. Do watch it. U will have fun time. It shows many rituals, traditions n familial bondinf in India beautifully.

This is a very difficult song to understand for foreign audience as it has too many cultural nuances that only South Asians can understand ,but as a foreigner u did good job

You should stop trying so hard to figure out whats going on because its all so situational... it only makes sense in the context of the movie. I don't watch too many full movies, so when I watch the songs, I just basically by default expect not to understand whats going on unless I see the movie. Its basically like watching a random movie scene out of context.

This is from the same movie Of the reaction you did of Joote De Do Paise Le Lo from Hum Apke Hain Kaun. It’s a movie that celebrates Indian wedding tradition. It is the Highest Grossing Indian film. But watching this movie is soo Sad because Bollywood is unfortunately sooo corrupt and the follow-ship they have. When a Bollywood actress age’s the Indian society is sooo brutal toward them and there worth is diminished. Madhuri helped Salman Khan build his career when she was at her top best. But, can Salman help her now that he’s at his top best ? 😢 Why is Bollywood like that? Why can Bollywood actors who are 55 act with girls who are 20 But, female actors who are 50 can’t act with male actors who are 40? In song actress telling the character of sister's brother in law in funny way. That is women music party during wedding this is one of the part of Indian marriages. Madhuris sister is pregnant.. and Madhuri is addressing it to her sister that Didi tera dewar deewana which means oh sister your brother in law is crazy. Further she explains it to her sister that how her brother in law is a complete nuts ... Now in baby shower ceremony gents aren't allowed but still Salman makes an entry and hence he seeks for the apology (when he is sitting on his knees and offers the stick to Madhuri ).. it's a banter going on .
