Seen the landcruiser at my local toyota dealership. It's very nicely shaped. Heritage blue, trail dust, and meteor shower are the best colors.

Modern engines don’t care about octane. They’ll pull a bit of timing but that’s about it, and only when it’s hot.

I got the same color and 1st edition. It now joined my gwagon as smaller brother. My G just came back from Alpine, Colorado. Next will be LC. Love it

Re. fuel choice: my 5 series BMW - which is premium only, as is Land Cruiser - started knocking after > 6 mths of premium-to-regular switch, and threw check engine light to boot; I doubt you will notice a difference so fast, but keep an ear on the engine, the knock can come after some time. Suffice to say, I went back to premium right away, the knocking, and the error, vanished within a couple of weeks. Been back on premium for the past 6 months, the engine if fine. But, I'd never repeat this experiment again.

Glad you are able to run regular. My recommendation would be running regular on road trips and premium around town.

I got lucky and got a Taildust First Edition. I am planning on a 2 inch lift with 285 70 18. Will that mess up the traffic assist or any of the other sensors???

You can’t order a Toyota but you can have a dealer try an allocate one for you.

Jon - You might have hit on this in one of your videos but what is your take on future Land Cruisers having 7 seats? I want a 7 passenger vehicle but the new Sequoia and Lexus models are a but pricey. Currently considering a used 2nd Gen Sequoia.

The manual says to use Premium gas....which people are going "why? Regular gas on the Taco..." with the same drive train.

It recommends premium. But yes the LC has a different ECU for it.
