I've also always loved that Cordovin's screams of "your fault" seem to slowly start being aimed at herself, she's sorta a comic relief villain but I find her mini arc so satisfying regardless, Ruby's courage in facing the leviathan alone inspiring her etc. goes right back to the lyrics of the original opening: "your heart will open minds."

Ruby's ALWAYS been smart when it comes to combat. Remember Volume 1, how she came up with the slingshot idea to kill the Nevermore? 😛

I believe the FNDM gave the Leviathan the nickname of Bubbles. Although I know of some people who call it Lenny.

It does get mentioned when talking about his landing the airship but I'm not sure if you caught it, Oscar is 14. Ruby is now 17 (but was 16 in Volume 5, so presumably her birthday was during the week timeskip, which also places the beginning of Volume 6 in early November, since her birthday is October 31). The other former students are 19. I don't think we've ever gotten an official age for Qrow, but somewhere in his 40s makes sense, considering he's the same age as Ruby and Yang's dad.

Lol, when I first saw the leviathan I thought it was a platypus. Your idea made more sense 😅 Neo's sass is definitely what makes her a favourite character. Also Cinder, really? You're gonna roast her outfit? You aren't exactly dressed for the cold yourself. Her semblance more materializes a physical image that can be shattered but she has to maintain it. And yes she looks awesome. The person who asked Cinder if she believes in destiny was Pyrrha... want to punch her yet? When Ruby used her eyes the song playing was Indomitable, its a Ruby song but its also about Monty. When Salem is stroking the grimm, she has the same expression she had in Jinn's vision when she was looking at her children. The ending to V7 is my favourite one, also there's no end scene for that one. The season 6 soundtrack is my favourite! Enjoy your chibi, it'll bolster you for the Atlas arc. Ok so rykage for clarification on neo' smeblance its called overactive imagination i think it basically lets her use her imagination and materialize it into the real world however the illusion can litterally shatter so she slip away if things get to dicey or just land a sneak attack . also ps if a character doesnt talk its probably neo shapeshifted .

Remember that both Ruby and Jaune were picked as leaders not because they were the strongest but because of their quick wits and ability to come up with battle plans on the fly. Ruby's always been clever like that, and Jaune recognizes that as well.

Regarding why Salem doesn’t attack outright, I have a couple of theories 1. It’s largely accepted that Salem wants the Gods to destroy the world, and her along with it “as long as this world turns you will walk it’s face” if all of humanity is united against her then the gods might just save them 2. Since the only way to summon the Gods is the relics, she needs the maidens to work for her. I’m assuming she can’t be a maiden since she is immortal and thus not a young woman at heart. If she gets too destructive they might refuse to do so (I don’t think Cinder is aware that this is a suicide pact). 3. When Salem fell into the pools of Grimm she became “a being of infinite life for a desire for pure destruction.” It’s possible that her own nature demands she tears the world down in as cruel and final a way as possible, by twisting their own ideals against them. After all she more than most understands what it means to be left bereft after a love one dies. As well as what it feels like to be betrayed by something she loved and trusted. 4. She’s taunting Ozpin. She doesn’t really care about anyone else, but there is something satisfying in snatching victory away from him just when he thinks himself safe. This is all a mind game in order to drive him insane. 5. It’s also possible that the Gods will only judge humanity unworthy if humanity destroys themselves as opposed to an inhuman source (Salem) doing it for them 6. Maybe she’s been busy doing something else that we haven’t seen yet. It could be something else too, those are just ideas.

Also maybe now you can see that those three who took Maria's eyes and tried to kill her maybe were the precursor to the current round table of baddies working for the black witch.

I think that Adams design was inspirded by the Devil May Cry reboot Vergil. Both having one coat tail on the side, both hair back & both using Iaijutsu. The differences Vergil's hair is white & his colour patern is black & blue

"Incoming Argus Base Call" - this is when they spotted the Leviathan - if Maria didnt taunt Cordovin they could have avoided the whole fight there. And Ruby finally missed. Pretty unlucky considering her great aim ;) To be fair birds fly between continents all the time - also it is implied so does Qrow. Actually he could leave the relic with Ruby and just go bring the lift - if he left when they arrived to Argus he would have been back by now. Then again we would miss this awesome fight "Bigger people" - She is tiny tho :P You can see the regret in Cordovan's eyes as she charges up the dust - she doesnt want to kill a kid either. (This could be easily misinterpreted as her being horrified at the outplay Ruby just pulled but she only realised that once Ruby's shot landed) It never tells you but apparentely he got branded by a racist overseer. Though he might have caused an altercation which led to that. People often complain about how Adam was got dirty by this fight and that she got nerfed (I expect there will be ppl saying that here as well) - allow me to be Devil's Advocate. We saw Adam fight twice - once against a distressed Yang with recovering aura and second time against Blake and Sun where he didnt seem all that overwhelming either. People tend to think he is on the level of team WTCH but honestly I think he is closer to the level of Em and Mercury - better than any of our main cast but nowhere close to better than Qrow for example. Actually Blake its not ok - she just killed a person with her own hands. A person she despite all of this cared about (More on that in the OST) Say hi to Bumblebee being semi-canon :P That was most definetly romantic. (This is another big "hate point" ppl have but this one is faily weak in general. This ship is pretty much set up since V1 - For example, Blake has Yellow eyes, Yang has Purple eyes) She actually caused that - all the shaking and screaming brought ppl into panic which attracted the grimm. Say hi to our good boi LENNY THE LEVIATHAN - he was foreshadowed by one of the movies at the cinema - Monster of the Depths iirc Ye Lenny's allusion is Godzilla :P Adam is confirmed dead - I really wish they would have make it clearer considering the history of fakeouts IT IS TIME FOR THE BEST EPISODE OF THE ANIME "Someone once asked me if I believe in destiny" - STOP QUOTING PYRRHA YOU BATCH :P I mean to be fair Cordovan was perfectly in the right - she might not have been reasonable or act smartest but she is just doing her job. Its a wall of hardlight dust - I dont think it understands what it is seeing. You can see Cordovan having a realisation that they are good people as Ruby says "We'll do it alone if we have to" You can see Weiss summoning in the back as Yang and Nora start blasting Lenny "something is wrong" The remembering sequence is wonderfully made and this is the one time where the in video OST is better than the track itself. I still wish they release this version one day. The triumphat powerful one. Its not activating cuz Ruby cant get over all the bad shit that happened. "Just this once I will give it freely" - There is a theory that Jhinn gave Ruby the memory of her mother - since when Summer went MIA Ruby was extremely young and wouldnt have such a vibrant image in her head. I really like this one. Each happy scene: bunk beds, "How do you take your coffee", Cheering for Weiss borbatusk fight, Yang short, S2 finale, Jaune and Pyrrha dancing, JNPR vs BRNZ, Qrow coming to Beacon, "Why I fight" speech from Vol 5, Maria teaching her about silver eyes, Penny explaining she is a robot, SUMMER ROSE Gurren Lagann "Drill that pierces the heaven" reference. And this is the right way to get access to Atlas - by getting the permission. QROW DIDNT DRINK I love how they go through nearly the entire OST from the Lenny fight to the end - the music keeps shifting "Does that mean he has been watching us this whole time" - and here we go again Yang... (What do you think he has been doing girl lol) No need to even explain the monkes - 5 points to Ravenclaw (I presume?) - havent had time to play HW:L myself yet so I aint watching :p Interesting theory about what Hazel said - cannot confirm nor deny but I like how you consider stuff like that. Ok we dont actually know why Salem never goes out on her own but here is my theory - she needs to get the relics when humanity is divided beyond repair so gods can delete Remenant. If she shows there is a good chance they unite against her and she does the opposite of what she wants. This way as Qrow said in Vol 4: "When dust is settled we can only point at each other! (I actually even think she caused the Great War somehow). Mega excited for OST, Vol 6 is my favourite by far.

I don't recall if anyone has already told you this in the past (or future videos since I'm playing catchup on your reactions) but Neo's look is actually inspired by a cosplayer. Monty saw a genderbent cosplay of Torchwick and loved it. He then designed Neo after that crossplayer. And she's still one of my favorite characters. Side note that you've probably already found out about, but Neo's VA, in the game at least, don't recall if she has done it in the series or not, is Casey Lee Williams. Yes, the amazing vocalist is Neo's VA. She got to go in and do some grunts and such. lol

So many trolls got triggered by Adam's death because they live their edgy boy. Also how Adam shouted what dose she even see in you. Proving Adam knows how Blake feels about Yang. Also when Salem made those flying gorillas she smiles at them the same way she smiled at her daughters.

I don't usually watch the OST post of reactors but I will watch yours. I love the Volume 6 OST that much!! Overall, Volume 6 is my favorite of the series and now you can see why. Everything tied up the past 3 volumes so beautifully and with the right amount of emotion, power, danger, and growth!!! And the end that still brings tears even after seeing it many times.... Hearing Indomiable as Ruby's silver eyes activate just does that to me. A lasting musical tribute to Monty, who passed away 8 years ago this week. Sorry..... Let's move forward to Volume 7. Looking up at Atlas don't forget that below is Mantle, were most ppl work & live. Both are in lockdown mode thanks to Gen. Ironwood. That's what our heroes are flying into. So, yeah..... 13:49 Yeah, glass isn't Neo's thing, so I wouldn't use that as a way of identifying her. Although her Semblance effect may resemble glass. Rerally though, glass is primarily Cinder's thing in this series (Cinderella and all that). I do wonder if any of Cinder's future outfits will contain glass slippers again like her original V1-3 outfit did.

Adam by all means SHOULD have won this fight, thats IF he was in peak condition. He is not only mentally nerfed, but probably physically nerfed, and i doubt hes had much time to train with how much hes been chasing team rwby. We see his lack of care in the fight when he was chasing blake, he took many hits that he should have just not, along with just straight being distracted in the first 1v1 against yang by his bloodlust for blake. And yet his fate stays the same, sealed. Him and Sun probably have my 2 favorite fighting styles in the series, i just wish we got the see more of them both

tbf to you, Qrow coulda gone on Weiss' shoulder as her "crow pet" so she wasn't going to Atlas alone, and then he coulda spoken to Ironwood etc (not sure he'd need the relic himself if he was sending people to pick up Oz' next host etc.) but that wouldn't be as exciting visually

Cinder doesn't have a kind word to say to Neo after her impressive ship-disguise feat. That always irks me (and Neo) - it's not a good sign for their partnership. If I was those Argus folks I'd be running up that hill and out of town to get as far from the ocean as possible, instead of watching the battle. Although they may have figured they were screwed anyway if the base went down. It really is cool that Jaune's development has gone down the support paladin track. Judging by fanfic and fanart a lot of people identify with him and wanted him to be the main character. But _he_ doesn't want that, he's never tried to assert control or steal the limelight from Ruby. He's a genuinely good egg. Such a refreshing change from a thousand teenage-boy-savior plots. That first sight of Atlas always reminds me of Midgar from FFVII, the floating rich city above the slums of Mantle. On to volume 7! It isn't my favorite for Reasons, but as usual there's a lot of terrific stuff in there.

Naaa, volume 7 is awesome with only 70% angst and horror, it's easy! Volume 8 on the other hand, whew boy.

Oscar is baby faced but don't let that fool you; he's also 14 (arguably turning 15 during v7) so only two years younger than Ruby~ XD Ruby is hella smart once you get past the layers of silly and rare bit of vanity/showing off; like it's kind of boggling to realize that she didn't seem to struggle at all in Beacon despite being pushed up two years. For combat year that makes sense but then you realize she was keeping up with the coursework too... And was the one who's come up with nearly every 'kill the big target' plan since the beginning of the show, did that 'ride the rocket locker up to an airship' trick in v3 and has consistently been the only one able to keep a cool head in very stressful situations. Ruby's so playful in personality but she's also a very clever bean and IDK I just wanna just about it cuz she deserves more recognition as the surprisingly vicious and smart one as well~

I wouldn't say that Ruby did *_95%_* of the work against the Leviathan. Though it was a great effort on her part, she did have help from Jinn, and all she really succeeded in doing was momentarily freezing it in place long enough for Caroline Cordovin to actually kill it. If the heroes hadn't destroyed Cordo's shield generator, she could have taken the Leviathan down on her own, even without her mech's right arm. But since she had no shields, she needed Ruby to hold the Leviathan in place so that it could fire its fire-breath blast at her unprotected mech. So Ruby (with Jinn's help) did about 70/80% *_at the most,_* while Cordo rightfully earns the rest of the credit. For me personally, Cordo's redemption moment at the end where she says *_"I'll take it from here. After all, I was sworn to protect the people!"_* before pulling out a giant drill and obliterating the Leviathan is one of the most hype moments of Volume 6. Like General Ironwood, Caroline Cordovin was an Atlas military leader who believed that she was doing the right thing, but unlike Ironwood, Cordovin actually came to recognise her mistakes and made up for them, reconciling with the heroes and even coming to respect them, and they her.

There's many people who think of Adam as an abusive ex to Blake and they're right but for the wrong reasons. Adam never actually abused or manipulated Blake. That's something the fandom just conjured up. Adam had control and power issues but much of that developed after Blake had left him. Blake leaving him would have also taken a toll on his mentality as well as its clear he geninunely has an attachment for her. Something many people don't pick up in the fight is that Adam and Blake don't actually want to kill each other. You can see both are holding back. We've seen Blake fight much better in every fight before this and she seemed reluctant to attack Adam. Adam doesn't go all out until he's facing Yang showing he's also holding back against Blake. Blake didn't leave Adam because he abused her. She left because his ideals no longer matched her's. A common mistake I see in the fandom. It also is worth wondering if Blake didn't leave Adam could she have talked him into being more peaceful and slowed his descent into madness? It's not impossible since it's clear he treasured her quite a lot. Adam's death clearly impacted Blake as well as she broke down the moment he fell. Many people cheered his death but my first thought was how this was going to mentally effect Blake, having to murder your own ex-lover. That cannot have been easy.

As promised here's my long analysis of Adam. Many people cheered for the death of Adam but for me it was somber silence in that moment. Adam is probably the single most misunderstood character in the entire show, part of that is the blind hate much of the fandom has for him but its also the writers fault for doing such a poor job with volume 4 and 5. My guess is the reason 4 and 5 were much worse than every other volume is because the team had just lost Monty who was the brains behind the entire show so they were scrambling with the writing and animation. The first time we see Adam(not including Blake's trailer) is in Volume 2 and 3 and his character takes on a morally ambiguous tone of someone fighting with conviction for the Faunus. In volume 4 his character does a complete change into what I can only describe as a pompous child. Than in Volume 5 they treated his fight with Blake with the level of a looney tunes comedy. It felt very odd to me from what we saw in Volume 2 and 3 of a menacing figure. I think this fight was necessary because we already knew Adam had much skill and the fact he nearly defeated Yang and Blake by himself speaks to how strong he is as a fighter and again makes no sense why he's able to do that but couldn't handle Blake in Volume 5. I think that was just a poor writers decision. As far as his character dying. I do think it was necessary at this point because his character had been driven to a point of no return who had lost everything he had built for himself. Overall Adam was meant to be a Fallen Hero type of character (like Nagato in Naruto for example) but he ended up being portrayed as just some abusive douche (again mainly due to the writers not executing his character too well).

I'm pretty sure Oscar is like 15 not 11 I mean I'm I could be wrong but if Oscar is 11 he is super mature for his age I know his younger then the rest I think but not that young Nevermind 14 they said it at the end Also yea voulme seven is my favourite and the reason Salem didn't do this before as Qrow said is so the people have no one to blame but themselves so they fight each other rather than working together against a common enemy as Salem said at the end of season 3 humanity United is a considerable threat but tear them apart and they Destroy themselves

I was expecting Adam to die no doubt he had it coming....but his death abit bland....no lecture to him after stabbing him to explain his flaws nor why they won.....to make matters worse....his development was kinda rushed.....after killing Seina Khan in cold blood he became cocky to the point he became dumber and dumber.....he still had that murderous intent no doubt.....but come on.....thats not enough.....a lecture or more brutal death should have happen....but i suppose 2 blades to the torso then letting him bleed to death is painful...oh and a back & head crack....and drowning

Yup, bye bye Adam. It's 100% confirmed that he's dead. Good riddens. Doesn't stop people from theorising how he'll come back, just like Roman. That entire scene with the silver eyes was chilling in all the good ways. Loved every second of it. It's nice to know that while Ozpin isn't present all the time, he's stil there and still cares about them. Watching over them, but not intervening unless he has to. Ozpin knows they still don't really want him around so he stays away and lets them handle themselves. It's kinda cool. WHOOP WHOOP HYPE TRAIN FOR VOLUME 7!! YOU'RE ALMOST CAUGHT UP MATE

This is the point I'm out. Not watching anything after the end of this Volume. I had a lot of theories back in the day, where this story would go. Still a bit curious but I think reading a summary after the final Volume is finished will have to do!

My only nitpick about the RWBY6 finale animation is that it feels like they forgot how bullets work....when Ruby fires at Cordo's missile launcher she lobs the entire cartridge, bullet and casing down range, which makes no sense....we're a long way from the Red Trailer and all the empty casings raining down from the sky. Monty understood how bullets work.

Adam before: destroy big spider metal robot. Adam now: can't destroy one metal arm. P.s. I know how Adam's semblance works.
