This interview is great. Tokkie needs to start a RU-vid page or somesort of podcast or blog. Start small just recording himself with his phone telling short stories about his life, growing up in that crazy neighbourhood, little tours around his hood, interviewing some locals etc. The content there must be endless, he doesn’t even need to tell DA stories unless he wants. No need for crazy editing. Just upload at least once a week and I’m sure it will snowball and takeoff!

Prim it was financed but yeah. I sold it probably 7-8 days ago….owed bout $13,000 on it and sold it for $34,500 and put the money that came my way towards my back bills. Still got 3 nice vehicles but that was one I wanted to have a forever…fuckit It was a 2017 and probably 28,000 miles when I dumped it. Oh yeah I’ll be up again I just gotta be smarter w my $. Example let’s call that car payment and insurance almost $1,000 per month……I’m remodeling my kitchen and 2 meals a day at $30 each meal is approximately $1,800 a month to eat……so if I buy the appliances this week or maybe next month I’ll have $2,800 back in the budget per month That’s how wasteful I’ve been being for years and it’s only 2 examples…… Time to smarten up.

Well it's poverty and the real parents was said to be in drugs (aka propably something like heroine or crack/amphetamines, I got sense like addicted since he said it was already normal to see for him) so when the countries biggest celebs come to ask if they can adopt your child who have a condition, they propably were thinking that this is path for him to make a good outcome for his future by what these people can provide (and maybe help them back). Like say Angelina Jolies and Pitt's kids, like Jolie basically directed the movie about Cambodias genocide by having a child whose heritage is from there (I have been there, there is gruesome history in it). That just shows that there is real dedication for the kids in big time. Those children were ofcourse adopted like you are supposed to in normal cases but I mean that there can be results of becoming basically a kid just from very rich household 😅 Better schooling, more opportunities for life, making contacts for future. When he was from ghetto with problematic, altough with loving parents I guess it was just the parents in a dire situation rolling the dice and trusting too much for a good outcome when these people happened to be the one to provide propably the worst one (also two mouths less to feed which must be tempting in hc poverty).

Saw them live , had a framed autograph of Ninja and Yolandi and I’m completely done and over with them after seeing this. You can’t treat people like fn style accessories. The last video with his family is heartbreaking where they are low key threatening him to stay quiet and saying “we want you to get a job” and such.. abandoning him after all the abuse and expecting him to return to his previous life without bothering them. At 9 years old no child makes their own decisions. No child has the mental capacity to make rational decisions. Moat nine year Olds have a concept of right and wrong normal and not by what they are around. I knew my homework was to be started when I got home and if I was eating anything I got hit. I knew that. So I didn't snack and I did my homework. This child had a normal he was used to, then basically built up emotionally while being broken physically and emotionally. They ruined his right and wrong. I'm genuinely surprised he is so well adjusted. Again, I feel like so many people are so tone deaf and blind to have how lucky we are in my country. I saw this unfold in realtime(via the internet of course). As soon as I saw Tokkie in his second video of theirs and how they made him look(lighting, scenery, make-up, etc.) I knew they were only exploiting him for his unique qualities and not in a good way. Lots of people said Zheani was lying and what not, but after hearing this and others stories of them, also seeing video of how they are to "friends" and other musicians, it's insane. I listen to arists who say things they dont mean that are nasty, but Die Antwood has always felt different. They literally look like junkies who got famous off acting wild and praying on many poor communities. I imagine if they were in a different country, they might not be as huge. This guy said in the interview, theyre like the most successful arists in SA, wouldnt be the case other places. They're not mentally right and having freewill to do and act however they want without consequences has made them feel safe to continue to act awful.
I stopped supporting them after Zheani came out. The evidence from everywhere suggests that they are just super shitty people. And much off their "brilliant" art is ripped off from other artists allegedly.

Tokkie is such a lovely man .. I hope he can live through the trauma they gave him! I already turned my back to Die Antwoord, because of the whole Zehanie case and Jolandi acting like she was assaulted by some artist (they didn't like) at a music festival. They're horrible people.
I am pro weed, shrooms, and lsd, but you need to be 25 years old. Any younger and it can be negative. Even too much sugar or caffeine should be controlled for kids and teens.
He is so well spoken. I truly enjoyed listening to him. My heart goes out to this man who endured inhumane conditions at the hands of people who were supposed to care.

I heard a similar story from Wanga Jack who is a South African rapper. He was also spending a bunch of time with them and he was featured in the Evil Boy video, the whole Evil Boy concept and logo comes from Wanga and his cultural traditions. Would be cool if you could catch up with him and do a podcast. He is pretty easy to find on Facebook I talked to him a few years ago, his story was extremely similar, he thought he was gonna get paid well working with them but got very little or nothing at all.

I don't know the band or him but this whole story just broke my heart.😭He seems like such a gentle man and he deserved so much better than all of the bad treatment and neglect he experienced. I hope he'll be able to recover from all of this and be able to find peace and the love he deserves. He should write a book and profit off of all of it...it's all so chaotic. When he said how people would tell him it's "his life" I started to cry. At 9 years old, to be taken away from your bio mum... There is no say when your a kid. This is heartbreaking. I used to be friends with these people and can promise you everything he says in this interview is true, he is so much better off being as far away from Jones as possible. He is not just an extremely narcissistic person, he still tries to be the worst person he can possibly be as well and after the Antwoord became successful Jones became the character he wanted to be and the fame gave him grandiose ideas about himself. One day he explained to me that I would never be able to do what he does is because as a person I’ll never be able to be on the same level as him, that he’s never met anyone who was on the level with him, that’s when I decided I can’t be around gods who’s so many unreachable levels above me and ended being friends with them.
It’s why I divorced my best friend… she thought she was a god to be worshipped… 20 years later I grew up and told her, ‘I cannot have a perfect friend’ I never looked back She still thinks she’s perfect I see through her delusion
I’ve met crazies like this as well. Too many mushrooms and meth and whatever else and they’re just really bad people to start with, so the drugs magnify that. Ninja and Yolandi may be also victims of child abuse because that’s the only thing I can think of that makes any sense here.
Sometimes, celebrities put out this dark vibe to express emotions or look cool… and then sometimes, like botdf, Marilyn Manson, and die antword are telling you exactly who they are. I love metal and punk, helped me escape from my pent up emotions as a teenager, and I fell in love with mosh pits too, but now when I hear lyrics that are so dark and vivid, it definitely gives me pause. The last thing I want to do is support people who are as evil as their lyrics suggest.
I’m pretty sure less of them are acting than you think. Many of them are showing you exactly who they are and getting a pass from the public under the guise of “it’s just art” or “they’re putting on a show to seem edgy get attention and make money” these excuses are bs they are throwing their evil in our faces and getting away with it.

Celebrities show us all the time what kind of sick shit they're into behind closed doors. They show us straight to our faces mostly via music videos, performance outfits and stage props. Most people just brush all that under the rug and still trust these people.

A few years ago a lady cane out with allegations against Ninja and Yolandi and had the receipts to back up alot of it.. I knew then something was off with them two but I had no idea it went this deep. I feel so bad for Tokkie. I've always liked him in the videos, I didn't even know they adopted him though. I’ve been desperate to hear from the kids and FINALLY we hear his side. My biggest concern is that ninja will molest his daughter and adopted daughter. I don’t think he would molest more so condition them in a life where they are being groomed / type of slavery. That is usually the intent behind obtaining young children like that. Iv seen other cases like that so that why I feel this way as to what they may be doing.

I used to be a music producer/ghost writer for the entertainment industry until I got in deep enough to see how dark the industry is and came to the conclusion that most celebrities are sick and should not be worshipped. I now make and sell beats to up and coming artists while warning them of the parels of the mainstream music industry.
Mainstream is dying out. People can make music, movies and other forms of entertainment on the same level as the big wigs now. And free of their tainted and evil brainwashing. Glad you got out of that cess pool and still do what you enjoy.

Tokkie is so precious. I am so glad he turned out to be aware of things and able to answer and talk through his experiences and I’m praying that throughout his life he is able to heal his mind for his dreams and live a happy and fulfilling life
This is so unbelievably sad. He is (and clearly always has been) such a kind, caring person and the fact that they tried to get him to believe he was the Devil is just heartbreaking. It is so messed up how people with bad intentions and no shame can just get away with manipulating, abusing, abandoning, and completely wrecking the lives of innocent people. It’s so much worse when the abusers are the ones who are supposed to be taking care of or supporting you….and somehow it is even worse than that with his story because the people supposed to be taking care of him basically stole him from his real loving mother/family. The cruelty is astounding.

I watched this entire podcast wide eyed. Tokkie sounds like he has so much clarity after being "groomed" at such a young age. I believe him and it's insane what he's been through. Speaking out for children is his calling ♥️♥️♥️
You actually hear the lump in his throat. Saying he lived a hard life is an understatement!! It was difficult. I watched the other podcast at his home and still not much has changed. I think a trust fund or some kind of donation to better his life will benefit him.
Well shit. I always wondered about Tokkie. Felt weird about the whole adoption thing from the beginning, but I brushed it off as me being too intolerant. Really wanted to believe Ninja and Yolandi didn't just take him up for his looks, that they were nice people who took care of nice kids... This is heartbreaking. I'm really glad Tokkie is talking about this and finally trying to fix things with his brother.
