This e.p. seriously hits home with me. Love the jangly distortion and the persistent energy of the rhythm section. Great band, recording, era! Thanks for sharing
I’ve been listening to that record in my work vehicle and I think it’s pretty amazing sounding. You can hear every instrument clearly and each instrument sounds great. I’m really surprised that Butch Vig didn’t produce it and Cory Rusk from the Necros and Touch n Go did and aced it. I’m also surprised their self titled hasn’t been remastered, but it really sounds like the band did live from that time.
This is really good and I had never heard this demo tape, although I did see them live as a teen. I also really dig the Cows & Beer 7" EP, although I wasn`t that much into their later albums where they sounded like a totally different band. Like that October File album.....that`s hella boring.
